I don't "lose my shit", I'm well past that stage in my life. But to relate pregnancy to Slavery and involuntary servitude is just stupid in my opinion.

Well slaves were forced bred. They had no choice in the matter. In states that disallow abortion women impregnated against their will also be without choice. So the correlation is there. The obvious difference is in the slave states it was encouraged to increase the slave population. Today we discourage the practice to the tune of if you are one of the 6% or so who get caught and convicted of rape you'll get an average of 5.5 years in jail.

Yea, keeping families together. What a sad lie. Breeding program, yes.

Hypocrisy all the way down

Damage-control? 😛

GOP can't have it getting out that it was one of their own maybe?
More damage control. Alito trying to deflect blame. Of course, if these pious fuckers during the so called investigation had been questioned under oath, we might have the answer by now. IMO Alito is lying under the guise of speculation.

Someone asked what actions can restore public confidence in SCOTUS. The ever evolving scandals ain't it.

Dems on the Senate Judiciary Committee need to have full blown public hearings. NOW

Alito is such a uniquely bad person it's sort of remarkable actually even in the annals of a court that doesn't exactly have a great lack of villains. Just a hateful actively malicious cruel liar who can't stomach even a grain of criticism.

He was telegraphing this long before. Liberals are the enemy you know, says the objective justice.

Holy Shit.

PAPERS PLEASE.

Getting your medical records without consent or even notice to make sure you're not getting abortions or LGBT care.

Just one thing in the guy's rant that I thought needed correcting. He talks about the hypocrisy of people on the right and their Gadsden flags. At the end he says, "...and if you care about EQUAL rights..."

They DON'T care about equal rights. They only care about their OWN rights. They don't believe that people who don't live the way they do should get those same rights.

Ajay should be happy because forced Christian indoctrination may be coming soon. May not be evil Catholic indoctrination though but the most beautiful, biggest and best Protestant evangelical indoctrination

Be careful what you wish for Ajay.

Already happening in Oklahoma. The Bible will be taught in classrooms

If you define a bad SCOTUS ruling as one that rests on flimsy Constitutional grounds and is harmful to the general public, then I'd say there's a clear 7 worst rulings of all time.

In no particular order:
Korematsu v. United States (Japanese internment legal)
Citizens United
Dobbs
Plessy v Ferguson
Dred Scott
Trump v United States
Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo and Relentless (recent case that overturned Chevron)

That means that 4 of the 7 worst rulings of all time have been issued by the Roberts court. This is the most disgraceful SCOTUS in history.

Edit: I just realized I left out Snyder v United States that recently legalized bribing public officials. So it's actually 5 of the 8 worst of all time. Seriously, fuck the Roberts court.

Bush v Gore is up there too.
