But this is what you get when politicians use terrorist to spin their political agenda of hate and bigotry. America was once a great country where neighbor helped neighbor and live and let live. Now America is becoming a Third World Nation like Nigeria and this nativist sentiment violence is pretty much the exact same as Boko Haram.

When are we going to stop it?

Not even remotely true. A few generations ago it was still easy enough to rile an actual lynch mob for whichever minority was so unfortunate to be accused of raping a white woman. Today, there's obviously still a shit ton of discrimination, but it's reserved mostly to lone gun types and passive/verbal support from their communities. There's still a ways to go for improvement, but the USA is certainly less bigoted than it was in the 60s or earlier.

All we have to do is ban them from coming here and it will.

Remember that as far as I can tell this guy did not say this until after Trump said it. And way to pull out the they can have a right to not get shot on American soil by not being here card. Nope, then they can have the right to get shot on Islamic soil.

Not even true. Having been to Nigeria multiple times I can tell you America is nothing like it. Even trying to compare the two is so far from the truth you discredit yourself. America is in many ways far better than it was in yesteryear in the "hate and bigotry" department. You are even more off the deep end than usual.

The problem is that people like him always think the grass is greener. Look at the headlines today around the world.

The UK utopia let rich Saudi guy off of rape because he claims he fell into a woman's vagina and his dick was so hard it went through his underwear and her clothes.

A man who insulted the Thailand king's dog is facing 37 years in prison.

I agree, and he obviously hasn't actually been there. I could post some pics that shows how terrible some parts of Nigeria actually are, and tell stories. While some places in America surely do suck (inner city Chicago) they are no where near Nigeria. I have lived there twice, you don't want to do it. But if he wants to go... have at it! I will say some of the people I worked with there were amazing, seriously dedicated and extremely pleasant to work with. Really did enjoy my time there. But comparing America to Nigeria is idiotic.

I say it's comparable and it's getting worse day by day as people who want equal protection against the law are getting kicked, spit, punched and pissed on. The videos are all over the internet. People are saying get out of my country to American citizens. You denying it is ignorance. It may be bliss till the piper comes.

The simple fact that you are trying to compare America to a THIRD world country is astounding, and wrong. There are videos of about everything on the internet, so what? You don't think there are disconcerting videos from Nigeria online? I, having been to Nigeria multiple times, and you who haven't. I'd say I know a thing or two more about it than you do. I've been to several third world countries, and several more than are not. I would tell you and whoever else doesn't like it here, so go try somewhere else. See how that works out for you. The things you take for granted here, are not everywhere else in the world. That much is an undeniable fact. Or, try to do something to fix issues that you think are wrong. Sitting on the internet making ignorant statements is not the cure.

Another fact is, that as much racial problems (real or not) as we hear about in today's news, it is much better than it once was. Sure we have a long way to go still, but don't pretend like it is worse. Or that in a place like Nigeria it doesn't exist either. You seem to have lived a very sheltered life if I was to guess.

The internet is not an accurate portrayal of everyday life.

You're aware that those are not three separate incidents, right? He said that your "videos on the internet" (my paraphrase) are not the normal portrayal of life in America, which is correct. You don't think that thing like this happen in other countries?

I can't really believe that you are this ignorant, that you're not just trolling. You have ZERO first hand knowledge of living in a 3rd world country? But you want to tell everyone America is comparable? Turn on your faucet, you can drink that water. You can't in Nigeria. Everything is bottled. You're laughably ignorant on this matter, but you obviously can't stop looking foolish.

LOL @ someone who has never been in third world country comparing the US to such. The poor in the US receive more in aid than engineers make in most third world countries.

Ever been to Laos? I've lived there for 2 years. Not that an blabbering idiot like you would ever care to research so shut the fuck up.

Another ignorant statement.. read the above one. I've lived 8 years overseas in my life.. so I've seen a lot of places. You wanna see my passport stamps? Or are you ready to admit you're the one who's laughably ignorant?

I've lived over 10 years while working in third world countries. In no way does the US come close being like one.

Chances are you were treated like a king while you were in Laos and never actually spent time in the poor sections.

How cute, good try though. Nigeria is the same as Laos? Hardly.

Your claim was that America is comparable to Nigeria, which you haven't been to. Even trying to compare America or any other 1st world country is just really, really, ignorant and wrong. I am actually embarrassed for you.

Whoever wants to be treated like a king is a prime target for pickpockets and muggings. That's not how I wanted to spend my life. So I kept a low profile and managed to do a lot of exploring for cheap.

That said I was safe.. safer than here in the USA. In the USA I've been mugged, assaulted and robbed.. not so overseas.

However Nigeria is different. And that's why I used that example because what boko haram wants is to oust foreigners and foreign influences and declare a muslim caliphate like ISIS. Are our hate crimes on minorities not starting to mirror Nigeria? It's a disturbing trend due to islamophobia.

Total pivot when you got caught by facts not favoring you. Nice deny and blame the other side when you're at fault for your ignorance.

If you had atleast presented a counter argument I would have been interested by your thought provoking intellectual synopsis but instead just like the conservaterrorists on AT quick to call names and insults with zero facts.

It's possible that there's areas within large cities in the US where it's much like Nigeria but for the vast majority of the US it's no where close to being like Nigeria.

Yeah, thought crime is so much better.

So now you are comparing conservatives to boko haram.

You are an utterly fucked up person.
