Leaving about 75% of the more rational GOP electorate with a choice between Obama or delusional.
You said the same choice twice.
Leaving about 75% of the more rational GOP electorate with a choice between Obama or delusional.
That means there won't be any posts made by cybrsage.. right?
We wouldn't get that lucky.![]()
Bush worked with Ted Kennedy to pass the greatest expansion of entitlements in history. He spent more money and grew government faster than anyone before him.
McCain worked with the Democrats in the Senate, the gang of 14. Was so far Left that Romney was the 'conservative' alternative.
Romney is the father of Obamacare, having signed Romneycare in for Massachusetts, the state of Kennedy and Kerry. He makes no apologies and stands by it to this day.
There IS NO ONE nominated for President by the Republicans, in my life time, who is a conservative that would shrink government. Reagan's popularity corrupted the GOP on the ideals of big spending. Their actions betray the rhetoric for which we elect them.
You'll know you've met a conservative President when you get back into office and your seat isn't there. When the centralized power in Washington is returned to the people and out of reach from your elite ruling class.
Santorum dropping out is long overdue. As soon as it became clear that Romney was going to win the nomination, all the other candidates should have dropped out for the greater good. The best (only) chance they have of getting rid of obummer is forming a united front behind someone. Prolonged infighting over the GOP candidacy only helps keep the current regime in place.
i would have liked the "santorum pulls out" title to this thread
I think you "forgot" the requirements.
Santorum pulling out is the best thing for the Republican party as a whole. Good for him.
Yes, his dream of a theocratic government is best left as just that... a dream that will never happen.
God forbid his daughter doesn't turn out to be Gay.
All that wasted money for treatments..... As he would say.....
Pretty insensitive since his daughter's condition will most likely end her life sooner than later. Typical liberal hate.
Actually it seems pretty obvious that his commentary, while insensitive, was more pointing out how Santorum is so hateful towards gay people that he would hate his own daughter were she to turn out gay and he would consider it a waste that she lived. Considering Santorum's own attitude towards homosexuals, I don't think he's off base there either.

Just like we all knew Romney was going to get the nod, we all know Obama is going to win a second term.
Santorum has eight children. How do you know the three year old is the one he was referring to, or is that something you just ASSumed in order to make your supposed point?
Only way Obama loses is if market tanks (and it's due) during election. Romney doesn't excite base, not enough flannel, not enough twang. And blue collar middle he reminds them of the guy who looted their pension or sent their job to China.
Ya, except explain to me how George W. Bush almost defeated the guy who led the funding for the creation of the internet and was VP when the deficit was eliminated...
