I never said he was ok. Becoming a multi-millionaire (as he did) spreading demonstrable false fables and denying science is hardly worthy of much other than utter contempt.
As if your self-righteousness contempt means a damn thing in the scheme of things. Would I be wrong to say that such disgust towards another human (just because they don't share your particular belief system) somehow makes you feel better about yourself? We are curious creatures....so small...so fragile...so tribal.

What bothers me is shitheels becoming obscenely hypocritically wealthy (by spreading demonstrable falsehoods) in direct contradiction to WRITTEN New Testament theology. Wanna give me the verse where the New Testament tells Christians to become wealthy? Where does it direct Christians to obstruct the government from giving tax revenue to the poor? In America, who opposes helping the poor more than fundamentalist Christians.... answer nobody.

24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

I can tell you that Jesus explicitly warns that its easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter into heaven. He also explicitly warns that no man can serve two masters (God and money) for he will love the one and hate the other.

No rich man is a christian nor will they enter into heaven; think about Lazarus and the rich man and when they died where were each of them at before Laz went to heaven and the rich man went to hell. These rich evangelists you see on tv right now are the very same ones that Jesus said would be begging for mercy citing their works for the Lord who will reject them saying I knew you not.

We agree, religion is poisonous.

I agree that organized religion is venomous and vile, however, the actual gospel of Jesus is not even remotely close to religion. The money changers took over organized religion decades ago turning it into the actual church of satan.

Agreed. My issues don't center around belief itself. It's how religion is used to control others, impose on others, hurt others, and Christianity is not alone in this

That was a done deal when the words of Paul replaced the words of Christ.

I'm not going to defend Christianity for you...there is nothing I can say that you don't already know.

A heck of a nice guy

"Nixon aide H.R. Haldeman first mentioned Graham's anti-Semitic remarks in a 1994 book, which Graham strongly denied. But when audio tapes from the Nixon White House were released in 2002, Graham could be heard referring to Jews as pornographers and agreeing with Nixon that the U.S. media was dominated by liberal Jews and could send the United States "down the drain."

''They're the ones putting out the pornographic stuff,'' Graham said to Nixon - "the Jewish stranglehold has got to be broken or the country's going down the drain,'' he continued.

Graham also confided in Nixon that he hid his rue feelings about Jews from them: ''I go and I keep friends with Mr. Rosenthal (then exective editor) at The New York Times and people of that sort, you know. And all -- I mean, not all the Jews, but a lot of the Jews are great friends of mine, they swarm around me and are friendly to me because they know that I'm friendly with Israel. But they don't know how I really feel about what they are doing to this country. And I have no power, no way to handle them, but I would stand up if under proper circumstances.''
