OMG, very nice OC.

Very nice results. That ram clocks very well. What vcore were you running?

1.45V on the Core
2.35V on the Memory
1.45V on the MCH

Running Dual Prime at this moment, had to go back to 5-4-4-10 on the memory. Still need to play with the memory settings later today.

WoW!

What memory are you using? Amazing timings at that speed.

Very very nice... I am also surprised it's on a Asus P5B as early reports of overclocking with that board seemed poor.
Is that the deluxe or normal P5B?

Damn thats smokin fast...

Gary, is this all on AIR?

Yes, all on air. All bios, no fooling around with clockgen or other programs. Running Dual Prime for the last four hours. The latest bios releases from Asus,Gigabyte, and others are really starting to mature as we thought they would at this point. Cooling is provided by the new Scythe Infinity cooler with an upgraded 120mm fan on it, a bit loud for my tastes but it works. I will try the stock fan from Scythe this weekend.

Gary, are you using the Delux version or the regular one? also, any hard hard mods to the board?

Sorry if this is a noob question, but being a noob it is entirely possible.
How do these number compare to stock? I guess, more directly what are the stock numbers?

Final question, what do think this kind of overclock will do to the long term reliability of the sysytem? I am looking to put togther a new video editing rig and would really like to get this kind of performance. But I would also need to system to last for 2-3 years (my typical rebuild schedule).

Thanks

OMG 525 FSB... where are you living in an igloo??? Simply astonishing, I would rate this best OC Ive seen on a E6300. Really nice my friend.

wow, that's a damn impressive OC, especially given the voltage used. my e6400 only hits 3.24GHz at 1.45V, but even there the heat is too much. i guess that scythe infinity must be better than my zalman 7700.

Deluxe, no hard mods although we might show a couple of mods that Asus informed us of to get above 550. I am just not one to ruin a perfectly good board. 😉 It is a new board received yesterday along with the recently released PC8800 memory from OCZ which in separate testing hit close to 1250, looking to do 1300 with it if I can figure out the right voltage or prayer to use.

Now, Now, we all know AT receives custom binned Conroe's that hit insane speeds. 😛

In the title it says "retail", but I'm not sure if that applies to how he obtained the chip or just where the chip would have come from. But damn, that's awesome.
