resting heartrate 118bpm.. should I be worried?

So ill admit, im on steroids.. and earlier in the gym i felt i was going to have a heart attack, luckily, i didnt.. !, and as im sitting here i feel like crap.. so i tested my heartrate as i just lie down and it reads 118 beats per minute...
is this within some kind of safe zone, or should i be worried? i think its due to the steroids as i never had this problem before, ok, i KNOW its due to them, so i suppose i should lower my dose.. but for now, i want to know im safe at least for a while?
thank you

Considering that I am on a weight-loss program... my resting rate has been about 70bpm, 118bpm would have me worried since that is only 30 bpm below my average work out rate. I personally don't condone steroids.

118 is my heart rate during light to moderate cardio. My resting rate is 45bpm, please see a doctor.

Anything over 100 would concern me greatly!
Make sure you're really resting and you use an accurate method to determine your heart rate.

You're really using 120 mg Dbol daily on your 1st cycle???
I thought you were joking.
Take a day off - NOW! Then cut your dose to 40 mg daily (10mgx4).
You really shouldn't be using any AAS at all given your lack of knowledge on the subject...
yes.. along with 50mg winstrol, 40mcg clen and 100mcg t3...
im thinking of halving everything, although ive had great strength gains and good size gains so far

I typically lurk, but I just wanted to stop by and say OP, you are beyond stupid. Strength train the natural way, or don't do it at all.

I'm gonna shot from the hip - and mostly from memory. Please follow up with your own research!

Clen and Thyroid are for fat burning - and will accelerate your heart rate considerably!
Most likely culprit to your high heart rate.

Winny IMO is a girl steroid (I've never touched it) - but because of it's high anabolic (it's low androgen characteristics make it usable by females) properties it's considered good by some for maintaining muscle while fat burning. Winny won't fuck up your BP or HR. Because it's a DHT derivative, if your prone to male pattern baldness say goodbye to your hair. It's also a 17a - which means it's somewhat liver toxic.

The hepatotoxity of AAS is greatly exaggerated - but needs to be monitored with blood tests at least annually - preferably twice a year. Once at your peak dosages, and again 2 months post cycle. Get a full blood work panel done!

Dbol was created by the late great Dr. John Zigler (Ceba) for US Olympic Weightlifters. Only American steroid ever developed just for athletic purposes (also 17a - so it's also liver toxic). It has high androgen and anabolic characteristics. Great for muscle bulk and strength - it's mass build up includes water retention which at your dosages will skyrocket your BP. Androgens will often cause an accelerated HR as well.

Clen is bad for your heart, plain and simple (it attaches to your beta2-adrenergic receptors in your heart). You're way better off with an ephedrine/caffeine/aspirin (ECA) stack for fat burning/energy.

T3 I've never touched. Only good reason to use it is in small dosages in conjunction with human growth hormone (then you have to use insulin also - which can LITERALLY kill you in an hour), then only after you've had blood work done to determine that you have sub normal thyroid levels. When you stop T3 you will be sluggish, weak, and accumulate fat. Taper off (gradual reduction) of this starting now.

I've altered my original recommendations:
Lower your Dbol to 40mg daily.
Taper off your T3 over the course of a month.
Eliminate Winny.
Replace the Clen with the ECA stack.
Start injecting 200 to 250 mg Testosterone (enanthate or sustanon) weekly. Steroids shut down your natural production of testosterone - so you need to supplement it if you choose to go the chemical route.

Do you really want to go this route? For your stated goals it's completely unnecessary...

That cycle is ridiculous, especially for your first one.

Where the fuck did you piece it together from?

I think if it tests that high, you should wait, rest, and test it again. I know it is possible, but I think it would be better to test it twice or maybe three times before going to the doctor.

Oh definitely. I would suggest lying down for 3-5min and then testing it. But it can test that high due to a ton of problems, particularly stimulant use (and perhaps overtraining) in this case.

Impressive. Someone owning up to steroid use.
At least you're being honest, but you are taking your life into your own hands in doing this since you likely dont have the knowledge or training to properly intervene if you do go overboard. I agree with the above telling you to stop.

If I had to hang my hat on any one of those supplements, it would be the T3 thats causing the tachycardia. Pts who have hyperthyroidism long enough w/o treatment can develop tachycardia leading to atrial fibrillation depending on how long they go untreated. I dont remember the exact pathway, but IIRC the T3 would slowly upregulate β sympathetic receptors in myocardium which would gradually sensitize your heart to any epinephrine or norepinephrine to the point where you fall into an arrhythmia.

Though it's unlikely that youll stop b/c of some ATHF posts, you might wonder about your ability to make a rational objective judgement about all of this since it seems like your reasons for doing this have already unknowingly put you in harm's way.
Its a long shot, but you might consider talking to a mental health professional first before you continue with all of this to try and get at the real issue thats causing you to endanger yourself.

Thats insane for a first cycle dude.

That being said, stay off the steroids. You can always tell who is juicing and at least 70% of the people that lift weights in my gym are juicing.

Just curious, how can you tell?

I've been a little tempted but...meh, not worth it.
