D-d-don't lecture me on the finer points of sportsmanship!

When your aorta is sitting in your lap, you will remember everyone telling you not to do it.

Just curious, how can you tell?

I've been a little tempted but...meh, not worth it.

Just use your common sense. Anyone that is ripped or just looks huge for their frame are more often than not taking steroids or at least prohormones. I never really thought that until my buddy (he uses steroids) started pointing it out to me. One very common sign is acne.

Im not really against steroids or prohormones , they are not as bad as people think they are. I just think that people go into it way too quickly before trying naturally while not doing enough research into cycles and PCT (like the op). Also it can really mess with you if you are too young, like under 21.

Learning proper lifting routines, diet, exercise and dedication are way more important

Anyone else slightly disconcerted that the OP hasn't posted (in all of AT) since the day he started this thread?

I just feel bad that this poor guy is under so much pressure to look a certain way that he has to take such extremes. This is almost like an eating disorder for guys. Classically, women with eating disorders diurese, exercise, laxative, or binge/purge themselves into some body type they(or society) think is "right". For guys, it seems like they goto extremes to bulk up and sometimes goto that n'th degree with steroids w/o even knowing the full risks/benefits and having almost zero understanding of all the possible interactions all of those drugs/chemicals can have once in your system(which is its own delicate balance of biochemical interactions).
All this because they think or theyve been taught to think that they should look a certain way...
Whats sad is that if he does have some kind of underlying anxiety or body dysmorphic disorder then he'll likely go untreated for a very long time before going on people's radar as having a problem.
It's tragic, but I guess we all make our own choices in life.
GL to the OP and hope he makes the right decisions for himself.

He doesn't have to take it to the extreme... All he has to do is lift and eat more. Everybody's pursuit of body image can always be done safely. They just have to seek some education on the subject.

I agree that no one ever has to take it to the extreme and you're speaking with very obvious rational thought, but its not certain to me that the OP will see that given his recent actions. In fact, his actions suggest to me that he's already made a pretty serious error despite having done a fair amount of research and that he's not likely to do things in a healthy manner.
I dont know if youve ever worked with someone who has an eating disorder or any anxiety disorder for that matter, but you'll find that the logic and reasoning portion of their brain isnt always there for you to educate no matter how rational your argument may be.
