What kind of horses ASS wouldn't even allow the parents of their dying daughter be by her side in her final hours. Forget feeding tubes and all of the other BS.

That is just plain un-human and IMO this action alone proves that this man is lower than whale sh!t, and whale sh!t, my friends, is at the bottom of the ocean.

And i'm going to repeat what i posted in the schiavo thread in P&N in response to you:

Maybe the parents should've thought twice about slandering and libeling michael. Also, when they decided to sell off those donation lists to special interest groups, they turned into pure scum. I wouldn't let them near my wife either.

Big Thumbs Up! I agree.

She should have watched the after school specials about eating disorders.

The only thing worth noting of this whole affair is how ironic it turned out to be... first, she voluntarily starved herself... no one cared. then the hostiptial stopped feeding her and everyone's up in arms. Call me apathetic, but I just dont give two shits about this woman or her family.

while trying not to be so cold about it, i basically agree.

i agree with this, but for some reason i'm feeling particularly pissed off this morning. i think its the lack of sleep, the fact that i've got nothing to do this morning at work, and my empty stomach.

I just feel asleep 2 & 1/2 hours ago...going to get some jamba juice, pick you up one?

Perhaps now her parents and husband can now get some rest, as she is. RIP, and media ... DROP IT already.

If someone I loved was being kept alive due to her parents wishes, taking me to court, and all this while I had to slowly watch her get old in that bed in a vegatative state, I might be a prick to her family too. It wasn't like she was going to get any better. He spent a lot of money trying to get her help, and in the end the medical community at large said she was a vegetable. Yet, her parents kept fighting.

Sorry, in his position, I would be pretty pissed off too and would probably deny them access at the last moments of her life. Heck, when you think about it, her last moments of her life were probably 15 years ago. Her parents are better off thinking of her moments back then instead of now.

Not that I give a crap about this case in the end. If people look at this whole ordeal intelligently, they will make out a "living will" and make sure that is carried out in the end if something like this ever happens. However, you won't see that happening anytime soon. People seem to think that a living will is something that doctors will look at and deny people the help they need. Scary.

What we should learn from the Schavio Case.

If you actually believe all of that rhetoric you just spewed out of your filthy sewer than you're a low as Shiavo. They've been in a pissing contest for 15 years now, so what. There is nothing in this world like a mother's love and who can blame them for wanting to fight. This woman was their flesh and blood, no matter what. They offered to take care of her, they offered Michael they easy way out, and this final act of denying her parents the right to be there with Terri as she passed away was just another extension of this petty man's heartless "Ill show you" antics. Its disgusting...really. There's going to be no funeral, there is going to be no goodbye and mourining for this poor family. They are going to be scarred for life for trying to act on what they felt was right and to protect their child as she was starved to death! How dare you side with "Well if it was my wife I'd be pissed off too"? There comes a time when this sort of crap must be put aside. And it boils down to plain common human decency and apparently you, sir, like Michael Shiavo have none. Grow up!

So Michael Schiavo is a douche. The parents are also douches. Everyone is a douche and nobody's perfect.

Move on folks. There is nothing to see here. Please disperse.

Ask me specifically what you feel is biased and I'll explain it to you. If you feel I'm biased that denying loving parents and family to be beside this dying woman in her final hours is just plain heartless then I guess you're right. I don't really care what the circumstances in the past were. This was her final hour and he did what he did as payback and just to be a sh!t head. That's just cruel and I don't care who you are. If fact it's not just cruel, its absolutely appalling
