Wow can we not hear anything else about it now? She is finally where she wanted to be a long time ago.

If only.

The Fund-A-Mentals will be in an uproar now and will demand Bush do something to prevent this from happening again (read, push for the confirmation of more conservative judges to the Federal courts).

It's far from over.

Round 2.
Now the arguements over funeral arrangements begin.

Well, both sides agreed on an Autopsy but the husband wants her Cremated while the parents want a full Traditional Catholic service and burial.

Will the courts have to decide this too???

Well personally, I think he should just let her parents deal with that. But we will see.

Yep, I just checked. I still dont care.

She should have watched the after school specials about eating disorders.

The only thing worth noting of this whole affair is how ironic it turned out to be... first, she voluntarily starved herself... no one cared. then the hostiptial stopped feeding her and everyone's up in arms. Call me apathetic, but I just dont give two shits about this woman or her family.

Hello???

The husband is in charge of her, the reason for the whole legal mess.

It's far from over.

It's over. The political hay was made. This will get as far gay marriage. Bush cares about himself. He merely uses the Fundies by making promises.

I'm going to repeat what I posted in the official Shiavo thread in P & N:

All esle aside. This Michel Shiavo guy is a class A P...R...I...C...K!

What kind of horses ASS wouldn't even allow the parents of their dying daughter be by her side in her final hours. Forget feeding tubes and all of the other BS.

That is just plain un-human and IMO this action alone proves that this man is lower than whale sh!t, and whale sh!t, my friends, is at the bottom of the ocean.

i dont think i will ever understand why this case became national news. people have their feeding tubes removed in texas and florida on a daily basis (or close to it) and we don't hear about them.
