Very much worried about close friends in Austin, I have about 5 friends that live within blocks of where the third bomb went off and a couple in the neighborhood the trip wire bomb went off. Whoever is behind these attacks is getting bolder using the mail system now, here's to hoping he gets caught and no more lives get lost in the process.
 
Wonder if this is driven by a unibomber type person, or some racial angle. I'm sure the profilers are all over this trying to figure out any connections.

You are channeling me. My first thought was a 40 some year old white dude of high intelligence like the unibomber. If there is an underlying reason for the murder bombings, it certainly is not evident at this point.

This is a lot sloppier than the unabomber. My guess would be he’s stepping up out of fear he’s about to get caught. They know where he shipped the packages from. They have to have something by now from video etc.

I've solved the case!

The profile of the bomber I've constructed fits only one man - that man is Ted Cruz. He is a brilliant man. Editor of the Harvard law review. Easily capable of designing many various bombs and booby traps. He hates black people, liberals, non-whites and Austin, Texas. He lives within driving range of all the bomb sites. He was not seen on fox news during the time these bombs were planted.

This last bomb was his "F*** the poors" bomb. He already set off his "F*** the blacks" bombs which were targeted at specific people.

Other evidence that it is probably Ted Cruz - His name. Same as another famous "Ted" bomber.

Your welcome everyone. It was hard working figuring this case out.

Houston is way way more multicultural than austin. I think Houston at this time is a slight non-white majority and is the 3rd largest city in the US. (this is a quiet little under appreciated fact)

"Austin Police clarified there was no package explosion at the Goodwill. The item that exploded was not a bomb, rather an incendiary device.

Sources say apparently the incendiary device was in a box that had been left at the donation drop-off site.

Police said the items inside the box contained military-type mementos. Police say this was an old military-type ordinance that went off in the employee’s hand and does not appear to be any kind of copy-cat type of attack.

The device was a flare. It was included in a bunch of donated items. As the goodwill worker sorted through the items he was apparently burned by the flare.

Austin Police discussed the matter during a 9:30 p.m. news conference which it broadcast on Twitter."





The latest "bomb" wasn't even a bomb and we have rabid douchebags in this thread accusing a sitting U.S. Senator from Texas of doing it.

Perp has been killed. Trump said this would be resolved soon. What did the POTUS know and when did he know it? Relieved to know the threat has been neutralized!
