Sure, if you alter or omit facts you can come up with whatever conclusion you want.

Take the white vote out of the graph and almost nobody would have voted for the GOP.

And why doesn't Barack Obama have a group for whites (or men). You still have not told me why you think this is. If the Democratic Party is the most diverse why doesn't it appear to want whites or men?

    The question really becomes threefold.
    1. Are we to become effectively a one-party nation, like the Soviet Union, Red China, or Cuba?
    2. If not, will the Republican Party become the Other Democrat Party to remain competitive?
    3. If not, will the Democrat Party's new competition be the Green Party (more socialist), La Raza (more brown), or some new collection of special interest?

I don't think any of us know today, but if one looks back at what the Republican Party has been doing rather than what it has been saying, it's clear that we're deep in the Age of Entitlements. The Republican Party can only survive as a viable alternative by going to the left of the Democrats, promising even more goodies from someone else's pocket. Given that blacks are owned by the Democrat Party, Hispanics rapidly becoming the same, and natural suspicion at such a reversal, I'd guess the Republican Party is over. If I'm right, then the only thing left up in the air is whether we have one party, an effective far left party, or we divide along racial lines as Hispanics become the majority.

What are you talking about? I think you need to contact your programmer and tell him your logic chip is failing.

Were, it would actually be easy to regain support for the party.

    1) Drop the practice of making policy through religion. Nothing is wrong with religion, but it has no place in politics. This means moving forward with more appropriate social policy. Stop being the bigoted, homophobic, war mongering party.

    2) Stop pretending like the Koch brothers, and people like them, give a shit about the rest of us. The success of the economy has nothing to do with how much or how little they are taxed. It is mainly driven by technological breakthroughs in this modern world, and a strong middle class. Middle class is doing well, they spend truckloads of money on new tech, furniture, houses, cars, etc. If not, the economy stalls.

    3) Repeal anti-liberty legislation. The Patriot Act, War on Drugs, etc were just ways to remove peoples' freedoms and they see it now for what it is. It's time to admit you made mistakes and fix them.

With those 3 simple steps the Republican party could easily turn the corner for the 21st century and repair all the damage it has done in the past 50+ years or so. I would gladly rejoin my party if that were to happen.

It's interesting how well Obama did amongst the Asian demographic. This is historically both a socially and fiscally conservative group, that has always had an undertone of racial discrimination (particularly older generations of Asian immigrants). For so many of them to vote for Obama is quite telling of the state of affairs of the Republican party.

It's racial identity politics from the GOP. Why would a significant portion of non-whites vote for a party that was founded on white racial identity politics and continues with white racial identity politics?

It alienates non-whites, but gains white votes. However, that doesn't work anymore.

You keep ignoring that the Republican party is racist. Why would blacks vote for the party of the Klan? How is that in their interest?

Is the Democratic party the party of Black Power? No. The Democratic party represents everyone equally.
Is the Republican party the party of White Power? Yes. This is why it is predominantly white, and why minorities shy away.

Democrats get minority votes because they're not racist. It takes nothing else but to show that you're an Enlightened liberal for you to be preferable to a racist to a class oppressed by racism. You would vote liberal too if you were a minority faced with conservative racism.

You have provided zero evidence of this fact. Despite repeated requests.

I have however presented proof the Obama did not care if white people voted for him based on his own website. Its a wonder he got as many white votes as he did.

I will combine the bloviating you did in the last thread with this one. You said "Remember, the Republican platform is to make false promises to racists while only actually working to represent the 1%" And we all know people are idiots if they don't see how the republican platform is racist, so why don't you educate us idiots on how the republican platform is racist by showing some proof. If it is so rampant and part of the platform of republicans, it should be fairly easy for you to post some proof.

Look no further than the major attempts to suppress the poor and minority vote through voter ID laws enacted only by Republican state legislatures.

These days no R can go out and say "******, ******, ******". It has to be subtle and coded. And it is, if you bother to pay attention.

Voter ID oppresses black people? That’s news to me. You are going to have to do better than that. And how come this coding you talk about is only when Republicans criticize a black Democrat and not when Democrats citizen a black Republican?

    Ha.

Moving forward they will have to drastically change their social policies. Basing your campaign on hatefully denying people rights based on some absurd, silly outdated religious mandate only makes you look stupid as *.

Additionally, when the economy is in the dumps you probably shouldn't put a candidate up who literally got rich off of shipping blue collar jobs over seas. DURRRRRRRRRRRRR

Surprised they didn't lose worse. I suppose that could be attributed to the shit economy + incumbent, etc.

GOP is certainly still very strong and will of course stick around. Certainly possible to win in 2016 if they learn from their mistakes. Unfortunately for them I think that the social issues and appealing to moron's emotions has lost it's momentum.

How does that work? They're already offering the entitlement of White Power while far to the Right. That's giving away whole kit and caboodle. You can't offer to give away more than the whole thing!

There is no entitlement on the left that comes close to racist white Christians' feelings that their race and religion makes them entitled to rule, which is what Republicans pander to.

    LOL, you're not very bright.
Blacks vote Democrat because Republicans are racist. They do NOT vote Democrat because they're enlightened, objective, highly educated intellectuals who are voting their hard understanding of liberal philosophy.

If you were stuck living in Afghanistan, and your vote was the deciding one between the conservative Taliban and enlightened liberals who believed that non-muslims shouldn't be treated as second-class citizens -- that there should be an objective, secular standard instead of minorities being held hostage to the religious emotions of the majority -- that the courts and the legislature should not merely be mouthpieces for muslims and should instead decisively assert and protect the rights of minorities against mob rule, would you stick to your conservative roots and vote Taliban? It's small government (tribal rule) with the conservative holy grail of religious law!
Somehow it doesn't seem like it would be in your interest to vote that way.
Does this mean that you're a liberal and that you'd be above voting with the racist mob if they were your mob? Nope. You're still a conservative, it's just the situation doesn't allow you the option to put your good old American "white power" conservatism in place.

The oppressed voting liberal does not mean that they have attained the state of objective clarity of the liberal elite. Our objective clarity is just useful to them as a counter to the blind, unthinking self-promotion of the majority conservatives.
