It?s getting harder and harder to believe one?s eyes and ears as George Bush, James Baker and the Republicans grow ever more brazen in their effort to seize the presidency with or without a lawful mandate. As amazing as this sounds, it is distinctly possible that the 2000 election will be decided by a bunch of riotous thugs, operating under the direct control of the Republican Party.

Are you fscking kidding me??

It's getting worse.....

<< A brick was thrown through a window at the Broward County Democratic Party office in Plantation late Thursday or early Friday. No one was hurt.No one was hurt.
On the brick, according to party officials, was written: ?We will not tolerate any illegal government.?

that sounds more like a revolutionary statement sorta like what went on in the balkans recently. As I recall most people here were cheering for that

Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Mrs. Clinton and various other Democrat thugs, have been "in your face" for years.

It's about time Conservatives stood up and fought.

This is a War to win the hearts and minds of the innocent, who have been to often duped by Democrat leaders, who only seek personal power.

Let the games continue!!!!

I would demonstrate too if Democrats wanted to move the counting BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. They moved the count to a place that nobody could see it. Oh, btw, that is illegal in Florida. Screw you anti-Republicans. Bush has had one stance from the onset of this. Gore has changed his tune 5 times. He wants votes from people too stupid or confused to fill out a simple punch card counted, while the ballots filled out by our servicemen are disqaulified on technicalities. Yes its true, some ballots were flown en mass to Jacksonville, FL and Queens, NY to be postmarked (just as a couple of examples), but didnt get the APO postmark.... so Gore wants them tossed. Hell I would be down at that courthouse with my GUNS if I thought it would help. Gore has wanted to change the RULES and LAWS of Florida from day one to benefit his "election" bid. He wants the White House, and has proven again that the Democrats have no regard for the rules.

FVCK him and the horse he rode in on!!

Red: it is also a tactic used by the Serbs this year when a losing candidate attempted to steal their presidential election from the rightful winner. Thats kinda funny when you think about it we are beginning to act like Serbs in our election process.

Can we look to Jesse Jackson for an example of this?

Haven't heard Gore say this. I did hear Lieberman ask for them to be reviewed. I did see the Democratic Attorney General ask that they be reviewed.

Perhaps you should review what Bush's Campaign Co-Chair wrote in a memo. She is also Secretary of State, head of elections in Florida. She said they must be postmarked.

>>>. Where the hell is that beady-eyed little coward they have chosen to be their leader? Why isn't he trying to calm them down? Because just like Hitler, he is depending on fear and hatred to win the day for him! <<<

True. Where is he? His minions are doing the bidding, bringing frivilous law suits, disturbing the peace with mob violence and intimidation. He does nothing but incourage it and protest that Gore is "stealing" his election.
That is so laughable. The law is at work, the ballots are being counted, every time the ballots have been counted,Bush's lead erodes, ans so like the fasciest he is, he will stop at nothing to thwart the will of the people to be heard in PB County,Miami/Dade and Broward county.

What a way to impress the voters and the US Supreme court.

<< Herr Palco, just because you don't like the Reverend Jesse Jackson, who is a true believer in your false God doesn't mean that he hasn't done anything un-American as you suggest.Though I don't agree with his Politics I do agree with his right to peaceful demonstrations. >>

I agree, Jesse Jackson's actions seem to indicate that he follows he dictates of a false god.

If you don't like it in the US, LEAVE!! You fvcking SLAM anyone whose beliefs differ from yours. I believe in a process. I take it personal when a bunch of hippie bastards try to corrupt it.

Flame away on me, I dont care anymore. I aw so sick of people whose heads are so far up their ass they eat the same food twice without chewing.

No, you dont hear Gore or Lieberman saying that , are you nuts? They are stupid, not brain-dead. They let their lawyers deliver the bad news (as does Bush).

They ARE postmarked. They just don't say APO. Who's fault is that? Try the USPS.

NesuD-

I call 'em like I see 'em. Watch, he will only post about me calling him names, he STILL wont respond to the facts.

EDIT: Yep, Bush jsut dropped the suit cause the counties decided to review the ballots again on their own. Watch, Gore's lawyers will be suing any second now.

I realize that many of you republicans were at the county building. How else would you have all the facts ,right? And if going to another room with both dem and rep counters present is cause for a mob, then call me out of touch. And why such an uproar over counting the ballots the machine spit out in Dade? It is a true sample from all precincts in that county so why not just count them. I'll tell you why. Because your guy will lose the presidency, thats why. We will not stand for GW's antics and that makes you angry. And stop with the childish names like "Gorites" and "Gorbies",you sound like two year olds. If any of you don't think that Jeb had some hand in some of these problems, you would also be in denial. If he was not Governor of Florida his brother would have lost by a landslide. What does that tell you. Absolutely nothing i'm sure. Because as I've stated before, you are all quite ignorant to the facts when they are not in your favor. But lets twist the facts and laws for that matter and accept votes because they come from the military even though they are not postmarked therefore illegal to count. My father wsa in the Marines and was wounded in Vietnam, but if it was his vote it would still be illegal. He is not special, though he is heroic. Well, may the best spin doctor win.

"every time the ballots have been counted,Bush's lead erodes"

So the Dems want to keep counting, keep counting, keep counting until they get the results they want, that and changing the rules are the problems.

I'll ignore your otherwise ignorant blathering name calling post for the biased rhetoric that it is.

Wait, these are OVERSEAS ballots that require postmarks. And the UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE is at fault?

Now, that's an interesting twist.

I would suggest that those votes are no more illegal to count than an improperly done punch card with microscopic dimples in which it is impossible to truly ascertain the intent of that individual voter.

veryape,

Some of us get our facts as things happen, not after the networks have "spun" it.

The problem with what the canvassers tried to do was that IT WAS AGAINST THE LAW!

Florida has an open meetings law which appliies to the canvassing boards.
Florida also has a law that says if your going to do a total hand recount you have to do just that, not count a subset of ballots.

Thats all i'm trying to say. ALL THE VOTES WHERE ITS APPERENT WHAT THE VOTERS INTENT WAS SHOULD BE COUNTED. Not just the ones that are in GW's column.

For gosh sakes....the head of elections in Florida, a Republican, and Bush's Florida Campaign Co-Chair said they must be postmarked. What more do you want.

I would like to see them counted too, if there was some way to do so legally. Hopefully, some legal way will be figured out so they can be counted.
