every election is historic. Just like 2006, and 98, and on and on. Same thing over and over.

Funny thing is how while dems got replaced this week, referendum and policy voting across the country seems to have favored the standard progressive agenda often supported by the dems and Obama.

So...it's basically an election of "We don't like what Congress is doing--which is nothing--but we like what the dems want to do." The president is always blamed, and that's fine, but it's interesting to see general support of his policies when you don't link those policies to a named candidate. :hmm:

I think you're right, spidey: Obama's real crime is being black, or "a skittle" as you like to call him.

LOL! You can't make this shit up. So what you're saying is, people like Obama and his policies so they put Republicans in the charge of the house and senate?

What you're saying is folks like Obama and his policies, but don't like congress so instead of voting for people that support Obama polices they voted for people campaigning directly against them? You're fucking delusional.
Mind of the liberal on full display, devoid of facts, truth and logic.

Well the black vote didn't show up for this election and it has had a major effect in the results. Unfortunately the enraged white Tea Party vote stormed the polls and this travesty is the result.

Bober, toooo easy...... LOL! You go bro!

Yes, it does look strange to the unthinking mind. What I am saying is that when people hate congress, they blame the president as they always do. Nothing has changed in the midterms of a 2 term president over the last 2 decades--we know that.

But what is pretty clear is that when policy is put to direct vote from state to state, the majority clearly seems to support the same policy that the dems advocate.

voters are dumb as hammers: all it takes is for a simple-minded teabagger to blame Obama for all their problems, regardless of what they are, and they will vote against Obama, and for republicans. Have them vote for those policies, directly, and they actually support those policies.

Funny, huh? Well, facts are in the turnout, and it's right there for you to see. But you're dumber than a bag of hammers, so you will continue to deny it.

So let me get this straight - you're saying people like Obama's policies, but yet they sent people who ran on a platform of opposing or stopping those policies?

Mind of the liberal on full display - pure batshit insane.

You LOST. The adults are in charge now so sit down and shut up while Republicans fix the country Obama destroyed.

They already did that once, and twice--in case you have forgotten. They also created the least popular congress in history.

Guess what will happen this time?

To which the real answer would be, easily.

Say what you want about Harry Reid, he's not nearly as adept an obstruction artist, as pro outsourcing, or as willing to hold the country's best interests hostage over political dogma and brinkmanship, a la the Credit Rating fiasco. I think I'd take Harry Reid's dog over this GOP turtle for a leadership position. Pretty much every dog I've ever known has showed more morals and respect for duty than this fossil from Kentucky.

You sir,are seriously insane or deluded.
I'm just happy to see Harry Reid go.
Yeah..this guy will probably suck too,but not as bad.

My examples are factual which is why you aren't trying to disprove them, instead you're dutifully following the standard sock-puppet routine.

It would take a seriously warped shill to try and paint McTurtle's behavior in this last congress as 'business as usual,' or try to attribute his stunts, lies and obstruction to others by proxy.

I do believe you're happy - ignorance is, after all, bliss. Yeah "this guy" will probably suck...
Sounds like you aren't very familiar with him at all, and are just hoping on a Reid bandwagon. You may also be taking my distaste of the turtle as a show of support for Reid, which is also stupid.

Go do some reading that covers the last decade in congress and get back to us. If I wanted to read useless and inane non-replies, I wouldn't have michal1980 and boomerang on ignore.

Spidey

Do you realize it's people like you that drive moderates to vote Democrat?

He's been asked that before, by myself and others. I'm guessing the answer is still 'NO'

At this rate, I think spidey and texashiker will be getting thank you checks from the DNC before long.

How many bills the Congress passed did Harry Reid obstruct from going any further? Owait..I found the answer:352..probably more than 90% of them.

Effectively shutting down governmental processes.tbh..he probably should be tried for treason, along with Obama.
There's a factual answer for you. :D

Anyone would be better than Harry Reid.
PeeWee Herman, even.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions on the depth of your comprehension abilities.

Pssssst. Might want to fully read the articles you link. Idiot. I was going to beat you over the head with some Debt Ceiling info, and choice quotes from the turtle himself, but then I realized it would be a complete waste of time. You're linking articles that undermine your hyperbolic hot air in your determined effort to not learn about Mcturtle. Go nuts kid, good luck in life. Someone with your attention to detail and regard for history is going to need it.

I don't have a problem with people being happy their guy won. None whatsoever. But revisionist history and regurgitated talk radio do not a factual point make.

Maybe he thinks Reid also referred to himself as a proud "guardian of gridlock," also made a mockery of his job by actually filibustering his own bill, or told 9/11 first responders to fuck off with their emphysema and cancers - there were Bush tax cuts to preserve and foreign company tax breaks to dole out! (Thankfully Jon Stewart turned that one around).

No idea if genius here is a teapublican, nor do I care, but the aversion to details and history is a little indicative of that I guess.

Lol! I love when idiots own themselves by their own links!

You should be ashamed of your stupidity, you should be embarrassed for swallowing and repeating right wing talking points, and you should be angry as hell for being lied to but instead you defiantly wear your shamefully embarrassing stupidity as a badge of honor! The bar of intelligence has been lowered in this country and you happily show everyone how you can go even lower!

Good job kid!

Many? 12 in congress, 3 in the senate (and one to be determined) and 2 governors. Those numbers can not be considered to be "many".

I am working to change it but it goes nowhere why?, BECAUSE the people who vote to adopt term limits, lowering congress and representative pay and laws stopping lobbyist favors are the very people who don't want any of that. All I can do is sign the petition and write letters to my reps which I do and vote independent which again I do.

What is next after that? Oh why bother you have nothing you can add.

You sound like someone who thinks the tide is changing back to his party.. well wrong, dems don't vote midterm, prepare for more tide shifts in 2 years and enjoy your Obamacare :p

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

OK. It is your miserable life, not mine.

I'm happy.

You know, I don't really care. If you don't oppose Obama with a patriotic passion, you are no moderate - you are the fucking enemy.

Go ahead and be "moderate", the adults are in charge now and we don't care about you. Country is on the line, either with us or against us. If you don't oppose Obama, then you are my enemy.

It was funny watching the lone democrat in the office after the elections. We rode that fucking commie hard all day long. He almost started to cry, it was glorious. The lot of us held out cups to catch his tears but he left. Fuck him and FBHO. You don't understand, those who support Obama will NOT be tolerated.

What travesty? The system worked exactly as it's supposed to. People voted, they elected the officials they wanted. That's the entire story.
