The Grid (which was eventually purchased by OneMain.com, who was in turn purchased by Earthlink. does that count as 3 different ISP's?)

Very first was Prodigy (93 I guess?), when it first came out. It wasn't very interesting to me at the time, being I was 6 or 7, except that I could play Carmen Sandiego and MadMaze. Good times..

Anyone remember the CEO game for Prodigy (Jump: CEO)? Heck, how many people remember Jump;)

After that...
AOL (bad, bad service, always a busy signal. Then, playing Half-Life on it...:roll;)
Snip.net
Comcast

My college :)

We used to dial into a unix machine runnning pine for our email. We could use gopher and lynx to get to different things on the 'net. Some chinese hacker kid figured out how to use windows DUN and a slip-ppp connection to get web browsing access with IE/netscape over the connection. Only like 8 of us knew how to do it, and pissed off most of the campus. This was in '96.

Freewwweb. Decent dial up and no ads. Then they went out of business and got bought by Juno.

I used sympatico.ca because back then they were giving out 12 months access for free. LOL. They never ran a promotion like that again.

Yup, sure do, in fact their dialup equipment for this region is co-located in our (the isp I work for) building. They shall feel my power ;)
