Remember how safe planes were before they got all fancy.

His stupidity and the freedom he feels to share it is truly astounding.
If he thinks he has a substantial audience that will like anything he contemplates saying, he says it. That's his m.o. He's not the studious type.
Once again don't let the facts stand in the way of a good tweet.

Why complicate the situation with factual information?

I'm flying Southwest next week but the planes I'm on are not the Max 8 versions of the 737. Apparently a lot of people on those flights are canceling their trips. I'd be shocked if SW doesn't cave and ground them just like the international airlines are doing. There's been a lot of backlash.
I saw story on evening news tonight, I think they're grounded. And Trump made a declaration... after Canada did.

The less self developed a person is the more the more evidence the witness in life that reveals that fact. But we all long to be accepted and to have self respect. This creates a market for those who are willing to play to the emotional needs of the least among us. Trump offers deplorable s a herd in which, a scent of any genuine measures, they can feel self respect.

The question is, how do you repair the damage of self hate without making people feel worthless? It can’t be done with false praise and condemnation is what makes people feel worthless in the first place.

Humanity is in a real mess.

Oh what might have been.................

If only Trump were as tough on the airlines as he was last year when he tweeted this.

Link

Which lead to the head of the FAA to quit. This guy knew what he was doing.

Another link

Makes you wonder what might have been if Huerta was in charge of the FAA during this time.

Which then circles back around to the original tweet in this thread.

Like I have said before, it is almost like he is making this shit up.

No deaths in 2017? LOL

Probably that is a very good idea especially since I wrote it in an gymnasium full of screaming children on a mini Ipad with auto-correct and text so small I can't see it, but there's one big problem with your suggestion and it's that I can't figure out, reading it now on my computer, what I meant either. The other problem is that I will often reopen a thread I thought I posted in hours or days earlier and find one still waiting for me to hit 'POST REPLY.'. That may mean I wind up saying something that others have already said.

I do apologize for the trouble I may cause you but understand, I didn't just arrive at a place where I am not too worried about looking and sounding ridiculous without myself having experienced some pain.

A scorpion, in response to a question as to why he isn't seen in the winter replied, "Does my welcome in Summer warrant me showing myself in the Winter too. A saying.

In all fairness it was a reference to US domestic commercial aviation.

It will also be really exciting when we run out of helium and have to start filling those bags with hydrogen again.

hydrogen wouldn't be such a huge problem if you don't use a thermite-based compound to seal and paint the bladder, like they did with the Hindenberg.

I didn't know the FAA had purview over these non-US jurisdictions?

see, if you fools would just read before responding, it might save you a few stones from the mountains of embarrassment that you just keep piling on yourselves.

I have that exact plane in my workshop. So far so good, no accidents. No kidding. Japanese made.

I'm looking for a high value at a relatively low cost. Yeah, good luck I know. Ebay is a joke and I'm not sure it is to be trusted at all. One plane was "made in Japan" and had a maker's mark. That turned out to be a Chinese city. I am not spending $500+, period. What I would love to see is a good source of these planes from a japanese site. If they are like fountain pens they are more affordable in Japan than here. So far I haven't found what I'm looking for. Any pointers would be appreciated. My first planned project would be turning white oak or ash into finished gunwales, and we're talking about 4 pieces of 1" material x17'. You can see how one of these would be fantastic. Yeah I can use a jack plane, heck a good block plane, but ideally this would suit me best.

Trump should really quit Twitter, given that it's based on so much of that new fancy technology. You know, all that computer stuff.

Instead, he should just write his thoughts down using a low tech pencil on a low tech notepad, then throw them into a low tech waste basket.

Trump's right that tech does have its downsides. His Twitter feed being Exhibit A.

Donald Trump is worried of a trend opening up.
That trend being some fancy high tech robot could replace HIM as president.

That doll actually kind of looks like hillary clinton with donald trumps hair.

Picture please
I bought it in 1972 in Maui. I built my own 14' dory using it, and the tools and facilities of one Dave Gibson, who owned a cabinet shop in Makawao, Maui, who graciously let me build it in his shop over the course of 3 months.

PS Not sure I bought it on Maui. I did take some tools back with me to the mainland but I may have bought it in Berkeley or the vicinity in the 1970's. Is it for sure Japanese? I can't read the lettering on that box, myself, but I think it's almost for sure Japanese. In the 1970's, AFAIK you didn't see stuff like this from China for sale in the USA.
