Religious people, would you be offended if I had this on my vehicle?

I would not be offended (and I am about as serious a Christian as you will ever find)

The real question is why YOU would want to jack up your car with that stupid thing anyway, and what good do you hope to accomplish by doing it?

DO you wish to offend, or perhaps make a statement, or just don't have anything better to put on it?

Didn't see this thread...perfect place for what I saw today:

Saw a license plate frame on the back of an SUV today that said:

"In the event of Rapture...this vehicle will be unmanned."

I see ones that have a little "Darwin" fish being eaten by a big one that says "Truth". The irony always gets me...

well if religious people can put Jesus fish on their cars, it would be rather hypocritical of them to say you can't put a Darwin fish on your's.

Why do you care what Religious People think? I would be more tempted to put it on there if the poll turned out the other way.

Because he's afraid of some whacko slashing his tires. I don't blame him. I don't put any religious or political statements on my car. It's not worth it.

What gets me, are the rocket scientists that have a giant pot leaf decal on their back window with a bumper sticker that says "Smoke the Sky". If that isn't big huge flashing sign that says "PLEASE PULL ME OVER AND SEARCH MY CAR!!!!!" I don't know what is.

LOL, I am glad I am not the only one that finds that funny. And then they get all pissed and start complaining about "profiling". hehe

I just think it's a funny image for a bumper sticker. I don't really know what I believe at the moment. I'm kinda in the middle. I mean, honestly, I'd probably put both the jesus sticker and the darwin sticker on the car.

I agree, but apparently it would be "wrong" because I'm making fun of a religious symbol

my car has a "no" symbol over two hands praying, and a "no prayer in government" slogan. my mother is a minister and she doesn't seem to mind.

I never understand why it would be offensive to some christians, but a friend explained it to me a few years ago.
He believes in evolution.
Basically, its taking a christian symbol, the fish, and mocking it. Its the mockery that is offensive.
Its not offensive to announce that you believe in evolution, its offensive to mock the people with jesus fish on their cars.
And people who put the darwin things on their cars know that its somewhat offensive. Otherwise its just stupid.
Would you put a sticker on your car that just says "I believe in evolution"?

Why would you put on your car a fish with the word JESUS in it that just says "I believe in Jesus?"

I wouldn't be offended either but this is a good point. The fish is a symbol of Jesus as many of his deciples were fisherman and became "fishers of men".

I had one on my car for like three years and never had anyone do anything to my car.

btw: you should have a third option for those of us that are not christian but want to see the results.
