If I recall, it was Kim that gave up 2 games to the Yanks. But it was the "untouchable" Rivera who gave up the all important game 7.

FREAK! Sox are choking down the stretch. Come on, Pedro gave you 5 good innings, where is the support. Damon you idiot, get on base!!

They're not choking, it's the Curse, alive and well.

sigh unfortunately my beautiful a's lost last night, along with mulder on the DL. *sob*

giants 9.5 up on arizona. 10 up on the dodgers. its a beautiful day for giants fans as barry hit # 652.

Red sox wont even get wildcard this year, certainyl now way they will catch Yankees who are now 7 up and have the 2nd best record in the majors as of today 🙂

There are a lot of Red Sox fans in my area. They are not talking about the series any more. They are back to bad mouthing the Yankees.

wasn't this the title of Sports Illustrated like 3 years ago? I'll believe it when I see it. I think they had their shot back in 2000 but they blew the penant. Had they won that they would've gone all the way.

Trot Nixon pwned you!!!!!!

Trot Nixon is my best friend's first cousin.

Is he rich since Trot makes millions?

She. She is rich because her husband makes millions. We actually snuck into the clubhouse at Shea when the Sox played the Mets because we said we were family. It was funny because she was the only non-asian among us.

i love the redsox(im from mass live in maine)but there jest cursed. thay have a great team but allways choke at the end of the season

Boston won tonight,

Yankee game still in play,

Boston has caught up to 4.5 games back,

i better buy that lottery ticket tommorow......

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear the unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To write the unrightable wrong
To be better far than you are
To try when your arms are too weary
The reach the unreachable star

This is our quest, to follow that star
No matter how hopeless,
No matter how far
To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into hell
For a heavenly cause

And we know if we'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That our hearts will be peaceful and calm
When we're laid to our rest

And the world would be better for this
That one team scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with their last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star

Good news Red Sox fans.

We end the season stretch playing cellar dwellers such as Cleveland Indians, Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Can you say PLAYOFFS?

Yankees are inferior compared to Red Sox.

Everybody in our lineup can hit, and we just added another starting pitcher to make a solid rotation.

Kim is the only thing that concerns me, but in the World Series, we can do what the Diamondbacks did and use Pedro Martinez as a reliever if necessarity in crucial game 6 or 7.

its getting down to crunch time.
Seattle is just about done.
who will it be in the central?

Looking
Sox/Oak
Yankees/Twins or WSox.

Although at first glance it seems preposterous to be talking about the Red Sox even entering the World Series, there is scientific evidence to support the claim that this is their year to take the Series. Mars came the closest to Earth that it will be for the next 56,000 years and it may be on the same cycle as the Sox.

Then again, as a former Red Sox fan, I could opin that the Sox will crush the hearts and spirits of their fans yet again this year, but heh-what are the chances of that happening? 99.9%?
