So how's performance for everyone? Read some early reports of crashing, low FPS, etc. I'm only running it at 1080p, so I'm hoping for FPS of 100+.
Tried playing this morning. Crashed to desktop twice. Turned of HDR on my PC, launched the game again and it went HDR then crashed. Finally launched the game in safemode, turned off HDR withing the game then launched normally. Finally launched then optimized graphics settings to 4K and all on high settings. Looks ok and plays smoothly but looks a bit "odd". Had to leave for work but will play and tweak tonight. Using a GTX 1080 so maybe I need to update the drivers. From what little I played it did look loads better than it does on my PS4 Pro.sigh
The game is in worse shape then Assasins Creed Unity.
This is totally not acceptable.
constant disconnects, launcher problems, having to load up two game launchers, both rockstar + Epic is making this game quite frustrating.
What worse is now i think i broke the game somehow as it wont launch.
Reddit Thread On Issues
I get an error when I try to launch it.
Again totally unacceptable for a game which was launched 1 yr after the console versions.
They had that long of a time to port the game properly.
Im about to write Epic a refund request, detailing how broken the game is soon, if i cant get it to launch.
sigh

No it doesn't.
Yeah my SSD is crying right now...
Was playing the game last night and my internet connection dropped, then got booted out of story mode, always online DRM strikes again.

People see the last ten year trend of day one issues, patches, glitches, bugs, etc. and yet they are still surprised when they play a game and find out that it's buggy as hell in the first month. It's like nobody understands that you won't lose anything if you just wait a few months before you throw money at a company who is only going to half-ass something.
GOG.com is my go to for old games. DRM free, and everything I have purchased so far runs stable on windows 10.Yeah i remember GTA V could be played offline without a connection and in between moves and stuff it was my go to game. Last time i tried to play it offline it wasn't no longer possible. Starting up a collection of older games strictly disc based. Already own BF2. Going for UT3 next. UT3 i heard is so bad on steam some people prefer to play the boot leg copies. I had a copy years ago but sold it with a computer i had in early 2010. I still remember the serial key cause of all the times i reinstalled on old/new/upgraded components and builds.
I have plenty of friends pressuring me, but it usually turns out that I can convince them to not jump into the day one disaster and keep playing the games we have in our backlogs. Then, if the game is any good, it will have a steady online community and plenty of patches after a few months. I guess I'll never understand the "keeping up with the Joneses" mentality.Maybe I'm just a jaded old coot with no friends to pressure me into playing X game, but I'm personally happy to wait it out with the hundreds of other games I own in the meantime.

How is it still F'ed up? Ive had no issues for a few weeks. Its on Steam right now but you still need a Rockstar account and they are STILL fcuked up beyond all recognition.
If you are willing to risk it right now, before they have fixed the issues, the game is currently marked down 20 percent.
Anyone wanna bite?
It also has an online gaming community, like GTAV.I may pick it up however since it’s a single player game the player base is pretty irrelevant
I’ll wait until it is$25 or less
