Damn. I'm on Vaca for a week. Maybe I should have my son boot the pc to start the preload.

Have they given the rollout times yet? Im wondering if like some games it unlocks at 1200am on the east coast but it includes all time zones. Like it unlocks at midnight EST but that makes it 8pm 04/19 on the west coast. Or are they going to unlock by time zones. when the particular timezone reaches midnight ,it will unlock then.

Don’t be too excited I’ve yet to play a game where Vulcan works properly, I’ve yet
To play a game where dx12 works better than dx11.

Vulcan supposedly works really well in Doom 2016 and that Wolfenstein game, IIRC...but I haven't played those games so I dunno.

Probably a little late but the game unlocks today at 1PM GMT.

Dont know what the hell is going on but for some reason when my game launches its bigger then my screen and I can only see about 3/4 of it. I run duel screens (one for gaming and other for other stuff, but the game actually is partially on it too.

Well for some reason, no matter WHAT resolution i set the game at , I can only get it to fit my screen in safe mode. Sucks because it kinda blows the Immersion seeing those top and bottom bars

I’ve had this problem with windows 10
Go into settings-sound-advanced(?)
At the bottom of the sound page it says advanced or something similar. Click on that and it shows specifics as to what the volume is for whatever app is running. Make sure windows volume for the game isn’t nearly muted.

So how's performance for everyone? Read some early reports of crashing, low FPS, etc. I'm only running it at 1080p, so I'm hoping for FPS of 100+.

LOL. Good frikken luck. RX 5700 @ 1080P only just breaks 60FPS ave. GTX 1060 6GB doesn't even break 30FPS. RTX 2080ti doesn't break 100FPS, certainly not at 1080P.

Edit: I don't own the game yet, looking forward to it when I can afford it. Just dropped coin on my fourth GTX 1660ti, which appears not to be enough "Grunt" for this game. (Should have bought another RX 5700 on sale.)

That's at Ultra settings, though. I'm not fixated on running every freaking game at Ultra graphic levels. I prioritize higher FPS with smoother gameplay over maxing out video settings. As I've gotten older, I can't really tell the difference anyway.

Those that experience performance issues I recommend using Vulkan regardless if its NVIDIA or AMD. The game becomes much more stable.

Also I think people need to rethink what "Ultra" means in this game, think of the "High" setting as "Ultra" in other games, the overall beauty of this game is insane.

According to Gamers Nexus's testing, Vulkan outperforms DX12.
