Or maybe it's about suggesting things that the person might actually like and enjoy? This isn't about what YOU like, it's about what the person that's looking at buying a new car would like.

LOL, you ever think before opening your mouth?

Yes, though it's obvious that you don't. The OP came in here asking for a car his father would like, not something that you would like. Someone that claims that they are smarter than Einstein should probably be able to figure that out. 🙄

At least fleabag was an amusing idiot. You're just annoying.

Guess I have to spell it out for you retard.

OP did not ask for a car that only his father would like, did you even read the fucking OP or are you a psychic mind reader too?

He says he wants an automatic, wants to live it up, and wants a sports car.

Now ANY OPINION anyone ever gives is going be based on their own apparent like or dislike for a car. Example: I like the Mini Coopers and would recommend it someone who wants an upscalish small car, as I have both driven in them but would not hesitate to tell anyone the reservations I have about it. HOWEVER, that does not mean I would ever buy one for myself or even remotely desire one.

Now, if the lesson on basic human psychology is over, then class fucking dismissed. Now GTFO. Douchebags who troll me with small arms don't have the brains to use the fucking trigger....🙄

You troll in every forum you post in. It's dull, repetitive and of no use to anyone.

Please show me where the OP's dad mentioned that he even cares what anyone else thinks. The OP's dad wants something that he can enjoy, and to enjoy the car means that it must fit what HE wants. You can whine about it all day, it doesn't change the fact that his opinion may differ from yours, and in this thread that's the only one that matters.

People have been suggesting a range of cars that he might like, based off the description. They've been pretty good, ranging from things like a Corvette, to Porsches, to quite a few other things. All cars that are very different but ones that many (though not all) people enjoy and fit the description that we've been given so far. If the OP gives us more information on what his dad is looking for we could probably narrow down the recommendations.

I hate to break it to you, but when people buy cars for fun it's more about what THEY like than what everyone else likes. Guess what? Some people like mustangs! The horror! Some will even pay quite a bit of money for versions with more power! The shame! Oh no, what they like isn't something that Mjinz thinks is worthy of being driven! Boohoo, they should just set the car they enjoy on fire and go get something that he approves of. He claims on the internet that he's smarter than Einstein so he must know what he's talking about!

Too lazy to look if they offer automatics...but how about a lotus? Nice fun sporty car. Not the fastest in the straight line obviously, but could be a heck of a lot of fun. Definitely unique too.

That narrows it down to just the Evora.

Please just GTFO out of these forums if you don't even have the basic concept of what a thread is and what "other people think".

AT Mods got it spot on for you, stupid really can't be fucking fixed.

When 90% of the shit you post are useless one liners, I would really take a good hard fucking look in the mirror and perhaps shut the fuck up? 😉

What's worse, useless one-liners or useless whole posts? What's your ratio of useful to useless posts, anyway?

Does MJinZ troll every thread like this with his supposed knowledge of high end cars? He said that he drives a Camry, IIRC so he most likely has no actual experience with any of these cars and is basing his knowledge off of things that he's read.

LMFAO. Let's play THIS game. What do you drive? :whiste:

Good call. His dad already owns one; perhaps a newer, sportier Jag would fit the bill nicely.

Man that would be an awesome ride, but I think they're manual only?

Yeah I think they are too. I almost took back my GT3 recommendation because I saw the OP post manual only, but I'd have to make an exception for that car - it's not hard to learn manual! A quick look on CL brought up two GT3's located close to me that both had less than 10,000 miles and were in the $85-87k range.

While I wouldn't want to buy a car that costs that much right now, I've been on-again/off-again looking for a 996 Turbo in the $40k range for myself as a fun weekend car. Both of the owners/sellers I talked to in the last couple of months were selling theirs because their wives were pregnant and were forcing them to get larger cars. While I'm not in that position yet I may be in the next 3-4 years so it's deterred me from buying a Porsche...so far.
