Recommend a good liquor for me to drink straight

Today is my Friday and I've been making a habit of buying a mickey of Liquor and polishing it off over a video game session 😛

I like Vodka and Gin but would like to try something new, don't have a lot of experience with others.
 
Last week I bought this weird alcohol that was 50% alcohol and it had this incredibly strong taste of cinnamon. When drinking it, the cinnamon burns a hell of a lot more than the alcohol does, but it tastes good enough to drink right out of the bottle. That's handy because I don't like mixing drinks while I'm driving.

I think it was called Hot 100. It's red. It says "100 PROOF" in big letters.

Buy a bigass fvcking jug of Mead.
Ideally, apis poltorak jadwiga. No, I don't know what the fvck that means, but that's what it's called.

Dansk Mjod Vikingernes Mjod is probably my 2nd favorite commercial mead that I've tried... easier to find vs the Jadwiga and usually less expensive too.

Otherwise, Viking Blod is good, though it's obvious it hasn't been aged nearly as long, and it's a bit rough, I like the flavor since it's got some hops and hibiscus for flavor.

Otherwise, Chaucers Mead is about the cheapest I'd go, it's a bit light with only around 10% abv, and it's not nearly dry enough, but it can be good from time to time.

Check the girl drinks section of the store. Chick drinks are the best tasting and they fuck you up.


Do you know why chick drinks are so strong? So they don't need to go to the bathroom as often 😉
(that's why I drink em, I hate having to piss every five god damn minutes)
 
There are some decent bourbon whiskeys in the $20-30 range. Look for Corner Creek or Four Roses Small Batch.

It was probably called Hot Damn 100

Oh and try some decent sugar cane rum with a splash of lime juice and a dash of sugar.
 
A 'Mickey' means a Pint, right?

I don't know of any single malt scotch available in that size.

Being in Canada - You should be able to get a decent bottle of Canadian Club fairly cheap, no? It mixes very well with Ginger Ale. (7-up gets too sweet for me)
