Well, I pissed around long enough trying to put a link in the thread so I skimmed the 1st page.had you read the article (because its 3 pages) you would have read that they are working on adding natural and healthy flavors to the carrots... like cooler ranch baby carrots... that could be epic.
It sounds like a great idea.
I would buy them if they come with a packet of salt, or other flavoring for times when I felt like using them.
The big obstacle is selling enough of them so that they don't go bad at the store. They are competing with products like Doritos with government subsidized corn and oil, and that last virtually forever in the store.
If a bag cost less than two bucks, I think they have a shot. But at something like 3 dollars or more, I don't think they would sell enough.
Guess that would be where the salt comes in, making them a not so great snack.Not just going bad at the store, but at home too. Even if the Doritos go stale, you can sling them in the oven for a bit.
