got my newq platinum $50 rebate today. basically, i had given up. the box had a $20 rebate on it. there was also a $50 online rebate. i sent in the $50 one. i think it has been over six months
 
Damn. Staples is denying my $165 Peachtree rebate because I didn't send in a serial number, even though it wasn't asked for on the rebate form. I'm calling in Monday with a threat to report this to my state's attorney general if they don't give me the rebate.
 
wow, it's been a long time comming, but my Samsung 955DF $50 rebate (from Samsung offer # 7468-72 sent back in 6/22, resubmitted once, via fax, a few phone calls to check status when it didn't show up on line) came today. TCA is svck.
 
Did anyone participate in the Reese's Movie Ticket promo? Sent wrappers to El Paso, TX......1 free movie ticket for every 12 wrappers, limit six? Has anyone received anything yet?

read the rebate form again. It did ask for it in the middle of these fine print (from the print out of cash reg.)
 
Maxtor/Staples 30G 5400 rpm $30 rebate received after 10 weeks.
Maxell/Staples CDR 50pk $10 rebate received after 3 weeks.
 
I was also rejected for the R225M Amazon rebate ($150). I think someone at the rebate dept. looked at the UPC date (mine was 7/17/2002) and misunderstood it as the order date. I dunno, it seems like every large rebate I send in gets "misunderstood" somehow :disgust:

Luckily I scanned everything and I sent them an e-mail with links. Hopefully they'll clear this up.
 
BB $30 (RebatesHQ..😛) from PNY GF4ti4200 ..very fast less than 30 days after sending in..for a change .also a Belkin $10 from OM (Mesa AZ) on ?? I dunno

RE: CENDYNE 32X (and probably others) REFUSAL because serial # BARCODE not included.

It appears that Cendyne/Staples or all of the above have had a change of heart on fullfilling these rebates. I and 3 other family members have had $50 rebates refused by REBATESHQ.COM becaue we sent in the serial numbers but NOT the actual barcode. No where on those rebate froms (all filed online through Staples.com Rebates) did it say to send the barcode, just required "the original serial number."

I have talked to the rebate CSR weinies several times but they were ADAMANT that without the actual barcode, we would not get the rebates. As suggested in a PM, was getting ready today to call Staples Corporate CS but decided to check the status once again before doing so.

SURPRISE! (and BFG!) -- Those suckers are now all 4 approved and in final processing! Supposed to have the checks in less than 30 days. Only a few days ago they were all denied, and they have now all been approved with no further action on my part, so if anyone is still waiting on one of these, go to REBATESHQ.COM and check again.

Just received my two $30 rebates for the Samsung CDRW from BB several months ago. Expressgroup / Walled Lake was two months late.

 
I have a rebate that was supposedly sent to me 3 months ago according to the tracking information on the web site. I never got the check. Do they have to issue me another one or am I SOL?
 
recieved mail that the CD player bonus with any the OM CDRW purchase are still expecting new stock...
 
Samsung Techno Yepp 128 MB MP3 Player $50 MIR through Samsung

Purchased in December 01, rebate sent in early January 02, finally paid in OCTOBER 02 . Only took a year, but they did pay heh.
