It's not because of Kanye it's because of what he did. If Billy Joel had jumped up on stage and said "Fuck Taylor Swift, Emmylu Harris should have won this award!" guess what? Some people who aren't even Taylor fans would go by her album.

FUCK KANYE, the controversy here is she was interrupted, and that controversy will lead to a jump in sales, period. It has nothing to do with Kanye, it has to do with his actions. And anyone who would have done what he did tonight would have given Taylor publicity.

If some of us were to speak our minds whenever we felt like it, we'd be fired. There should be some shred of decency in people - he has proven (several times) that he has none.

If some of us were to speak our minds whenever we felt like it, we'd be fired. There should be some shred of decency in people - he has proven (several times) that he has none.

his own music label is more than free to fire him, I don't think G.O.O.D. music would because you know, he's the CEO and all.

True his timing wasn't the best, but I think it's being a blown out of proportion a bit.

I work with a gentlemen who is for all practical purposes is a real life Kanye. He runs his mouth all the time because (1) he knows there will be no repercussions and (2) it's pretty damn entertaining. Sometimes the laughs/entertainment value comes at someone elses expense, but life goes on.

The people who hated Kanye, hated him well before this incident. The people who loved him will for the most part continue to love him after this incident. He is just one of those "love him or hate him" guys with nothing in between.

If the people who hated him have just one more thing to point to and call him an ass, then so be it.
