I think she looks beautiful.

Even then, I've met a lot of ugly ducklings in my life that grew up to look like all-star caliber actresses.

What are you talking about? That girl DOES have curves.

No, that girls has none. Now I know you're sense of beauty is distorted. Once you get older, you'll see differently.

Thank god women's standards aren't the same as men's.

I dated a fat chick for almost 2 years. Just because a girl is fat doesn't mean that she can't satisfy you emotionally and sexually.

Besides, everyone's got a different opinion on everything, so you can't tell someone they're wrong about anything said in this thread. Everyone sees things differently.

Are you blind? Until you know what a curve is, stay out of this thread.

Unnatural "ideal body images" go both ways.

You tell her M4H.

While I was flipping through the channels today I found a movie on HBO called Brown Sugar. Let me just say that Sanaa Lathan is who I am talking about when I say curves. Mmmmm...that is some fine brown sugar.

Btw,I see a very large number of heavy women around here and funny thing is most of em manage to have husbands and families who love them, who'd have ever thunk it possible?
How dare you question the male mentallity? A man can be out of shape and be totally ugly, but that is OK. The slightest bulge on a females body is a total turn off and she must be made fun of and belitteled because of it.

well, do we make fun of males that get fat... HECK YEAH! Anyone who's a fat@$$ that doesn't make any effort to drop weight and faunts it should be made fun of mercilessly. Come ON! We have a giant nation of fat people... and it's only getting worse at this rate. Do your part to ease the burden on the health industry!!

That having been said, I hate ugly chicks who think they're hot . . . both physically AND otherwise (sometimes the hottest chick can be ugly when they open thir mouths):

It's just a balance between the two extremes, IMO.

Aye.

actually, i like skinny guys

:lips:

furthermore, there is a lot less presure on guys to be "the right image" than girls. take fat guys for example, you see them everywhere on tv and in movies and they aren't rediculed the same way fat female actresses are. ie) rosie, roseanne, missy elliot

i have been thin and fat and back again so many times i can't even count now. i go to the gym everyday and watch what i eat and i'm sorry if i'm not anaroxic thin but this is just the way i am. I HAVE BREASTS that are a d cup, thers nothing i can do about it (believe me i have tried). i am so sick of hearing all over that my breasts are too large to be the ideal natlie portman or jennifer love hewitt type. i will never be that thin as hard as i try, my bone structure is just too large for it. i have hips and an ass. i may not be happy about it but there really isnt much more i can do about it than i do.

if someone is happy with their bodies just ACCEPT IT. its none of your damn business how much weight they've gained or lost. nobody is asking you to like that body type, just RESPECT thats the way they are and move on. it doesn't effect you any!

Well, depends on how that 135lbs is distributed. Evenly = fine. All in the ass = no go.

And since you're obviously talking about your GF or a woman you're pursuing, pics or ban.

- M4H

lol

I'd say she si alright. Depends how the weight is distributed around her body. She may just be lean and have a lot of muscle mass or just be heavy but looks thin. I know a bunch of girls that weigh more then they look as they are dancers and do ballet.

Body Mass Index

http://www.healthplug.com/overweight.html

135 lbs. × 0.45 = 60.75 kg
(65 inches × 2.5) ÷ 100 = 1.625 meters

Your weight (in kg) ÷ Your height (in meters)^2 = Your BMI
So, for the example:
60.75 ÷ (1.7)^2 = 23.01

To fall within the "healthy range" on the BMI, your result should be within 20 and 25. Results both smaller and greater than these values are associated with significant health risks.

Crypticburn

So Arnold Scharzeneggar is unhealthy?

The BMI does not take in to account people with more then average muscle mass. The BMI is taking an average of 'un-trianed athletes' and general people who are office workers etc. Not trained sports people or people who train week in week out.

As for Arnold he use to do a boat load of steriods. That will pack on an insane amount of muscle over the years as shown in his films nand various pics of him.

I also think a guy with 2 heart ops isn't healthy or has had really bad luck in his life.

I'd say he wasn't perticularly healthy in the way he took steriods and other stuff. He got big and lean but that is not always healthy. Especially when you get too lean and go on crazy cutting cycles.

Right..yep..I sure missed that one .

Uhhhh... if I'm reading "internet sarcasm" in that; I can tell you for a fact that eakers is a she (I've met her in person).

As to the thread:

Larger women not being your personal preference is fine. However, dissing/insulting/"I'd kick her to da curb" attitude is total immaturity and stupidity.

Obsession with self-image is literally killing women (and a surprising number of men) these days. While Hollywood takes the brunt of the blame, there is FAR more to blame on peer pressure - including the type of peer pressure people feel over the opinion of dozens of internet posters.

You want to date an airbrush? not saying those women aren't attractive but the photo editing in those shoots is pretty extensive.

Further thoughts: REAL fat (obesity) is dangerous. Very fat is unhealthy.

However, the definition of "fat" has been getting absolutely ridiculous in recent years. Arguing whether 135 pounds at 5' 3" is "fat" is indicative of this mentality.

There is NO way 135/5'3" is fat, in the real sense of the term (unhealthy/dangerous).

The trend and direction given to girls these days is that no matter what height or build they are, over 130 punds = 'gross cow'. THIS is dangerous.

A true healthy weight is below fat, but well above what so many here would "kik dat beeyach to da curb!".

Elita's roomate in university was 5' 11" and weighed 120 pounds. She starved herself because she was too fat. She gave up her heart medication because it increased her appetite.

My sister-in-law is 5' 8" and 130 and on a veggie-only diet to loose weight... because she's been told she's getting fat.

On the converse, we see women on "Jerry" weighing 480 and claiming its glandular. Less than 3% of all weight problems are glandular in reality.

People need to return to healthy. Muscle weighs more than fat. Pushing teenage girls to starve isn't the answer. And labelling weights like 135 as "fat" can only make that worse.
