ok... i've had it... people, if you're going to be working out at the gym, wear some damn deodorant. really. it always seems like it's ONLY people from a certain ethnic group that don't realize that you need to wear deodorant if you're going to be working out around other people. i just can't stand choking at the gym while i'm trying to stay concentrated on my workout. i don't care how lax or extensive your personal hygiene regimen is; wear some freaking deodorant so you guys don't fog everyone out of the gym. it's just common courtesy. i don't walk over to you and fart in your face while you're bench pressing; you can stand to wear some fucking deodorant.

No, I take a good shower before I go to the gym, I don't have to wear no stinking deodorant. I was in the gym today and at one point I did smell someone's deodorant, and it stank. I'd prefer they just take a good shower and apply no fragrances at all. That's what most of the guys do. I've sometimes gone in the gym without taking a shower that day and I can smell myself, so I try not to do that any more. Soap and water.

deodorant is nice and all until its used to mask a really nasty smell. then it acts as an amplifier.

Well, just what this thread is about. I've smelled some people in the gym who could have used a shower. When I leave the house I like to smell nice, well, not nasty.

One day they gave out free samples of deodorant at the gym. I brought one home but I haven't cracked it yet. I'm a soap and water man.

deodorant is for those too lazy to shower every day. I can't stand any type of perfume. sometimes it so thick I gag.

also, it doesn't smell 'clean', it smells like perfume. clean has no smell.
 
I did not read the whole thread, but I am pretty sure the ethnic group referred is Indians.

That's disgusting. Even if you shower twice a day, like I do, you still need deoderant.

You sweat during the day.

Maybe in the shithole country you're from it doesnt matter because everyone stinks, but in the west its very offensive.

Wear deoderant!
