Not me. Give me a curvy voluptous woman any day.

Women are supposed to have curves. & they're supposed to be soft.

Fvck stick figures, sex isn't supposed to be a sword fight.

So you seem to suggest that sexual intercourse with stick figures is acceptable while sword fighting while engaging in sex is not. Interesting.

Cheers ! :)

I have no ass and I finally got slim enough to wear my extra low, size 7 lace up stretch jeans. I've been working hard for this... and now I realize that these pants were only meant to be worn STANDING UP.

Do you have ANY IDEA how hard I have worked to have the right to wear these pants, and now I find out they are only meant to be worn by a STATIONARY MANNIQUIN?

Grrrrrrrr!

<---decided to spend the winter in her Victoria's Secret velour yoga pants instead

Okay, I do not normally rant about anything but today I feel the need to do so.

Since I start work next week, I decided to take it upon myself to go out shopping for some new clothes for my orientation. The is a wonderful mall very close to me and is full of wonderful stores both expensive and not. So, I make my way over this afternoon with full intentions of spending lots of Skoorb's hard earned money to make myself look nice in some new clothes. I walk through many of the stores, looking at prices and styles and then I start to try things on, mainly pants because that is what I need.

After 3 hours, I came to the realization that clothing manufacturers have decided that women are to have no hips and no butt and that they are to be perfectly straight like little boys. MrsSkoorb is NOT perfectly straight like a little boy! I am a woman and therefore I am shaped like one! I do not want pants that are slung so low that if I bend over, I risk losing them nor do I want pants that are skin tight and balloon at the bottoms like elephant legs! Then again, I don't want grannie pants that are up around my boobs. I simply want casual pants that FIT me and make me feel comfortable. I went into so many different stores and just about gave up out of pure misery and frustration.

Now before you think "Oh great, another woman not happy with how she looks in clothing," this was not the issue. I mean, if they FIT me I might be able to say that I didn't look good. Quite simply, nothing fit. I am not a strange shape, I am NORMAL. I just don't understand, I really don't. Everyone else must be freaks....

Sigh.

There. I am finished ranting. Thank you.

BTW: Skoorb got a pair of jeans out of it. :)

I like women with hips and butts. My wife has a really nice waist with well defined hips and a VERY shapely butt. I don't know where women come from, but I hope that they never stop making 'em like they make 'em now. Little boy girls are just gross.

I hear that, Sir Mix-A-Lot. :D

Rail-thin anorexic type != sexy.
Slender, well-proportioned = sexy.

Massive implants != sexy.
Curved, voloptuous lady = über sexy.

Enough with the size 0 trends.

For all of you who courteously drove me nuts in this thread... the spelling is clothes, not cloths. You wash your car with old cloths (pronounced clawths) and you do that (hopefully) while wearing clothes (pronounced clothes). Thank you.

Why thanks for pointing that out! I shall make sure to use the correct wording/spelling from now on.

I hate stick figure women. WTF is up with that? If I wanted to date a stick I would ask out RaySun2Be. I like women that look like Women, not like boys.

I hope you find some cloths that you like soon MrsScoorb, of only so I will never see you angry again.

I'd pay good money to watch you washing a car with old cloths without wearing any clothes...

"It used to be normal for women to be curvy, now everyone expects you to be like 14 year old boys. There are some guys here turned on by that."

I'm very lean and curvy but not excessively curvy. Curve is not discouraged, even in the modelling industry. I think it's a plus feature, since not too many women have curves and are reasonably curved. What isn't encouraged is excessive curve. My biggest fear is if I added weight, it would be on that spot. It isn't cute at all when excessive.

I do know what Mrs. Skoorb is talking about to some extent. But I hardly have problems finding clothes that accentuate my curves and behind (and yes, I do have a behind). The only area where I do tend to have such problem is with jeans and "pants". Part of it is due to my height too. But if you have Levi Strauss or a similar company customise your jeans, you can get one that perfectly fits you. I actually was lucky to get such a jean at Express. It's excellently fitting. It's my favourite jean, in spite of other jeans I have.

[ViperGTS:] "Women are supposed to have curves. & they're supposed to be soft.

Fvck stick figures, sex isn't supposed to be a sword fight."[/i]

There we go again.
rolleye.gif
Geez, when last I checked, your sis was very skinny. Do you like to see people mock her? And what makes you think that a stick figure couldn't be curvy too?
rolleye.gif
My Lord! They hi-jacked the word curvy to mean plus size? :Q :disgust: I must have a warped perception of what curvy is. I don't think that one has to be plump in order to be curvy, but maybe it's just a definition thing going on. Has the word been hi-jacked by plump/fat people? :Q Wow! How about models like Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, to name a few who're lean but have curves? I give up on describing myself as skinny yet having reasonable curves.

Now, if you describe curvy as plus size people (which I'm aware they're used interchangeably) and we accept such as a model standard, so what should happen to the people you call "stick"? They should live a life of the plump/fat, cry and crave to add weight even if it's beyond their control? I am aware of societies where being skinny is rather mocked. It's no fun. Let the "sticks" rule if that is what it's meant to be.

are the words "curves" and "figures" in this context used euphemistically? i, for one, dont see anything wrong with the "ideal" women purportedly portrayed by the "trendy" stores =]

Yea...

I've mentioned this before, but she hits me when she wants sex, and she has more energy than I do... (that bruise on my arm is never going to heal)

Feisty little one she is... :p

If I ever pissed her off, she would kick my arse... ;)

Actually, that is part of why I call her Thumper. It is a long, inside joke (there is another one) about her sex drive.

It goes like this... She keeps going and going like the Energizer Bunny... which is really just a rabbit... which played the part of Thumper in the Disney movie...

What do rabits do all the time?

Now you know why I call her Thumper... :D

Yea, I didn't stop hearing about that for nearly a month...

I am actually in good shape, but she is in better shape. She is also a lot smaller than me (6'1" 190lbs vs. 5'1" 105lbs), so she has more stamina than I do... or maybe that is just because she is a woman, I don't really know...
