You know what is really funny?

MSNBC, the channel for politics as they describe themselves, has made no mention of the races this evening.

Now, I might have missed something as I am switching channels between Hannity on FOX and Maddow on MSLSD, but why is it that when the elections go against the Democrats that particular channel, so rabidly Democrat, just fails at reporting the news?

They played the same ignore game during the Massachusetts election as well.

Can't they even make an effort to spin, spin, spin like they do every other night so that we can hear the progressive excuses?

UPDATE: and now MSLSD's MadCow has BARBRA BOXER - D of CA, of all people, commenting on the great jobs that "green" industries have over those in the oil patch. WTF? Where are the politics when the vote counts are coming in and we want to hear from the shining lights of the "progressive" left?

Uh, Rand Paul winning the primary is objectively GOOD for Democrats.

The fact of the matter is even in Kentucky, the odds of the Democrats winning the Senate seat just went up significantly. Democrats actually hold a registration advantage in the state, and while many of those voters normally go Democrat for local races and Republican for national ones, Rand Paul could be the exception if he says things to scare them off prior to the general election.

The reality is Rand Paul getting elected doesn't actually measurably change things for Democrats politically versus any other Republican, where he is one vote of 100 in the Senate. If anything there are a few issues as a Libertarian he might actually cooperate with many Democrats on.

At least get your facts straight. I was flipping through channels earlier and Maddow was talking about the Specter race with him leading 55/45 with 12% reporting. I didn't bother sticking around because I despise MSNBC.

For the sake of accuracy - Maddow gave some results at the end of her show and Herr Olbermann seems to be devoting his show to the race results in progress.

Ugh, Olbermann is a hate filled person so, for the sake of my karma, I probably won't flip channels to MSNBC for the next hour or so.

Let the spin begin!

Kentucky is a scary place.

It doesn't surprise me the Tea Party is strong there.

Why anyone would think this even begins to approach an argument with any degree of credibility is a mystery.

This is real life. This is not the playground at middle school. Enough with the fairness arguments. It reeks of immaturity.

This isn't about fairness. This is about why the wingnuts all of the sudden decided it was time to band together and "take back the country" despite years of their own party committing the same atrocities they accuse Obama of.

<-----Voted for Paul today!

Even though Trey Grayson is a great guy and I do not trust Rand Paul but I still voted for Rand Paul today. A message had to be sent to Mitch McConnell. Funny thing is Grayson was up huge early.

Long term, GOP is building a permanent minority party.

Funny you don't here the word "neocon" mentioned much anymore. They are throwing out the trash.
LoL that is why they are in the minority now! RINO's are wishy washy ass kissing poll watchers. When you do not stand for anything this is what you get. Moderate Dems can be effective because the Dem party is a collection of numerous allies. The GOP'ers are just a few core groups in comparison and even then the Core is pissed...

you wish... lol

I hope you are just being sarcastic but ... I doubt it

and you'd wish they weren't.... but they are - pin a "teabagger" down on an issue and you'll get a "neocon" answer...

you tell him. The neocons were like glam rock and the teabaggers are the grunge movement of the early 90's. Everybody traded their spandex for flannel.

As a "Gen X"er that is more offensive. I hated Hairbands! GTFO Poison!

How does it not surprise me that Libs like to stick people in thier own categories without any logic to it? You all like to divide and label for whatever end suits your needs.

That is why they are Teabagging you.

Dood and my puter kicks yer puters ass! Loved the DX4 100 I fused one to a mobo once. I didn't know what a ZIF socket was! Then I bought a Cyrix PR133+ and kicked much ass!

So far from the truth it is not even funny. How about we ask some Dems questions. There are stupid people everywhere the media shows you what you want to see. Teabaggers were the ones pulling out their hair everytime Bush opened up his mouth on Immigration or free trade. They were the ones holding thier noses when he appointed stiffs like Mike Bown for FEMA. In that respect Obama is just like Bush. Putting his dumbass friends in charge of things they have no business running.

I can prove it in two easy ways:

1) Look at who was Partnered with President Bush on amnesty for illegal immigrants. Democrats. Even most RINO's were not touching that.

I know why you think they are the same though. They do not think like you and they are the bad guy. So they are the same to you. They are the boogieman!

2) Neocons were wishy washy they wouldn't get up and march on the white house if thier life depended on it. They stood for what ever got them there and looked at polls and feathered thier nest. Conservatives in general are anti activism until now. But these days they are trying the activism thing with good old Barak and his Politburo in control you know why?
