Nothing Bush / Cheney did even approaches the level of spending Obama is engaging in (though I agree they did a terrible job and increased government spending and waste), and Bush/Cheney never attacked the US healthcare system.

It's all well and good to fixate on the latest bump in amounts, but that is simply a diversion from the fact that Obama and Bush are parts of the same machine, carrying on the exact same destructive patterns of crony capitalism. So Obama kicked it up a notch. Guess what, if Obama and Bush's terms were in the reverse order we would be talking about how Bush is outspending Obama. In neither case does it make one fundamentally different form the other.

GOP is in minority because they can talk the talk and can't walk the walk when it comes to government. GOP cannot govern when given power to do so. The party ideals don't translate to reality. Purifying those ideals is not going to change that.

You'll notice Barrack didn't campaign for any of the dem candidates. Wonder why that is? Because when he does, they lose. BHO is the greatest motivator to get people to the polls, but not in the way he wants.

Stopping Obama is all we care about right now. We can stop his damage and willful destruction of this great nation. I've never seen people so excited to vote. All over the office people were making sure to ask everybody if they voted, making sure family and friends got out and voted and all the enthusiasm of "We're going to stop Obama, we have to stop him, NOW!".
