So do you take it to LANs often? :p

Hahaha good one :)

I never went to LAN parties.

Today i'll try to record a video of BF4, its unbelievable how smooth it runs at 8044x1440 Ultra and I don,t need to OC the cards (obviously)

I can't wait to bench these babies.

Depends on priorities. I spent 5K on my race car. (Spec Miata) and then it costs about $700 a race weekend.

If it's something you really want to do, you find ways to get the money.

Totally agree.

When it comes to hobbies this isn't as expensive as people think when compared to others.

And I miss lan parties.

There is a certain something about being in a room full of like minded people that you just can't recreate over the internet even tho its close.

Link? at some point you hit the limits of what a 6-pin a 8pin and PCI slot can do.

Clocked at past 1,3Ghz maybe is other history. Not that will require(DC amperage) all the 12V power the 1,4Kw PSU can supply... I Think the user is Groove...(i don't know his entire nick).

Monster system Karlitos. Can u give power measurements at >1250mhz quadfire in 3dmark? Wonder if the 1600 gonna kick the bucket in 3Dm around 1290mv-1350mv vgpu with high system vcore & vdimm. 450 x 2 on the 1000w = 900w, 450 x 2 on the 1600 plus 300 cpu, 150 loop & fans, 75+ x 4 pcie, 150+ mobo/ram/drives = 1800+. Probably 2D @ 500w and can touch over 2600w socket in 11. :0

2600w of heat is enough to heat a good sized room. Possibly a small house in some places. I hope you're plugged into a 20amp outlet.

lol all this power talk.

I remember when I was running my i5-2500k at 5.4GHz and my 470s at 960 core and it would dim the lights in our old place in specific areas of benchmarks.

Well when I fire up two emotiva amps and my yamaha avr, it dims the lights lol. My 920 was a power pig too, glad it's gone.

I can't imagine what the OPs system would do, I imagine blow the breaker for a start.

I used to start up a benchmark, like Metro 2033 and turn on "All of the Lights" then go out into the living room and enjoy the glare the women folk would give me as the lights started flashing to the song.

My 2x280s in the room next to my bros 2x4870s tripped a breaker once......it is awfully strange being zoned out on a FPS and having everything go suddenly dark. :p

Which amps? I don't use Emotiva and refuse to use "home theater" amps. Way too expensive. I don't understand why they price them so high.
DJ Amps don't look nearly as aesthetic, but they do the exact same thing.
Besides, I plan on hiding all the equipment anyway, so I don't mind using a DJ amp.

Since I'm not moving out for about a year, I don't really see the point in upgrading my sound system though. I'd LOVE to go full DIY system, just because I want everything looking very pretty, but the noise already from my poverty system causes complaints. I just wanna build 4 15 inch subs is that too much to ask? It's not even that many -.-

Good for you! Have fun!
What temp monitoring devices do you have? I'm curious what the temps are for the gpus now that they are water cooled.

Water temp Idle : 27'C
Ambient in the room: 25.5'C
Ambient in the rig: 26.5'C

Water Temp during game: 31'C (stock cards)

Average GPU core temp on idle: 32 - 35'C
Average VRM temps on idle: 25-27'C

Average GPU core temp on load: 46'C
Average VRM temps on load: 38'C

Those load temps are ridiculous.
