How does one get to 8044?

Its 7680x1440 with bezel correction gives 8044x1440 🙂

Just out of curiosity, what was your last GPU setup?

Amazing rig BTW. I looked through your linked doc also, that's a lot of time there for sure.
 
Isn't that along with the other CPU/components as well?

I had a separate PSU powering just the card, and measured just the PSU with a Kill-a-Watt. Accounting for the power the card draws from the PCIE slot (roughly 75W?), it was around 425W with 1.35V.

Now I feel better about not getting Quad or even Tri Fire 290Xs.
