Asking if Trump should be impeached in a forum that mostly full of liberals now (as evidenced by the number of trump hate threads that pop up daily here) is like asking if school kids want free candy...
Oh I thought you were going a different direction with that. I thought you were going to ask... it's like asking if school kids should feel and be safe from mass shootings. Answer's still yes!

Wait a second...why was that necessary? There were a shit-ton of British loyalists who were farmers, fishermen, tailors, cobblers, whiskey distillers, that really weren't into the idea of rebelling against the state because a handful of upstart elitist landowners, concentrated in two rather small regions of the country (extremely, extremely wealthy individuals) wanted to stop paying their taxes. LoL--remember how in that new country, a lot of those farmers, the ones that survived, anyway, weren't even allowed to vote simply because they didn't own land?

....From an honest perspective of "the people" in the early US, rebelling was a fucking shitass deal for them.

Uh, I'm pretty sure the British imposed taxes which affected ordinary people in the colonies. For example, the Stamp Act, the Townsend Act and the Sugar Act. You can google to discover the wide array of goods they were taxed on. I think there were also other things besides taxation which pissed off the colonists, like being required to lodge, at their expense, the British troops stationed here.

I'm also pretty sure there were more than 12 people who wanted to rebel, or the colonies would have lost. Yes, there were British loyalists among the colonists. That's not in dispute. They just weren't in the majority.

As a matter of principle, yes, he should be impeached. Politically, however, I want Democrats to wait until they can get Pence at the same time. Or vote in a Democrat, whichever comes first.

Pence? What in the world could you charge Vice-President Pence with ? Being too big a Christian? Being too nice?

Aiding and abetting Trump's crimes especially after he signed on as the VPOTUS candidate.
Loch Ness monster, Bigfoot and and the Abominable Snowman crimes? Yeah sure.
Just let me know when you can get 67 Senators to agree on these mystery "crimes"

Glanced at origins for the term high crimes and misdemeanors on wikipedia. Based on that, Billy probably should have been impeached and Trump shouldn't have lasted a week. :D

It is best to ignore a thing with this type of mental illness. It thrives on attention.
I hear ya but taj and I have a history. I loath him. I think @imported_tajmahal is truly and profoundly a bad person. I feel compelled to tell him on a regular basis that he is filth. ... And then he calls me fat because he thinks it's the worst thing he can say to me. He actually thinks it's as bad as him being a traitor and his willingness to grenade babies.

Personally I think lying to the american public is enough to be impeached. When the president sends men and women to die on the battlefield, its pretty important that the people believe him that he is telling the truth about the necessity of such actions. If the guy is a constant liar, how can he do his job?

How many of us would keep our jobs if we repeatedly lied to our boss at work? Why is the office of the presidency any different?

Maybe you are joking? You tell teh truth always? what president has not lied ? maybe you all are waiting for jesus christ to be prez right ? ;P :p honestly i dont know any of the crimes anyone has committed why not spell it out for those of us that dont watch the news.

You mean the senators who have sold their souls? The senators who are willing to let a traitor be president? The senators who are complicit? The senators who are getting everything they want from a corrupt president and fu*k the world?

You're a fu*king traitor.

Neither were the rebels.

The problem with impeaching a vile yet incompetent moron like Trump is that his successors, Mike Pence and Paul Ryan, would be just as vile and evil (if not more) but also competent at enacting unpopular policies, lying and getting away with it. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d rather have the moron in chief stay and fuck his party some more.

If he does that, he could forget about reelection! Neither side would want to support him, and he's all about popularity.
True enough and I don't think it's likely but it just sounds like a weasel move he'd consider.

Well, don't you think there's a slim chance he "becomes" democrat then?

Yeah, well, it was really sad seeing Chuckie thinking he actually had a chance getting him to consider Garland when he was set on Kavanaugh.

Though, it would be amusing if Thomas retired next summer, and Donnie changed his mind and would be willing to put Garland in. Shee-it, I would be willing to let him and his kids off and let him rankle the Republicans until 2020. XD

I wouldn't go that far.
