All of SC sucks. Concrete Jungle, pretentious snobs and you gotta be a gazillionaire to live by water.

I live within like 6 miles of the beach, my parents live within a mile, and I have friends who live about half a mile, none of us are gazillionaires. Depends on where you want to live. If you want to live ON the water, sure it's expensive, but there are areas that aren't near the water that are insanely expensive. SoCal fucking rules.

I am a Californian. I am neither left nor right or center. I am not a compromise of polar ideas, but a synthesis of opposites in a higher understanding. I represent a body of knowledge that can be had only via self understanding. Mine is a truth that is completely concealed by the fact that you believe you already posses such understanding.

I.E. elitist snob? Or ironically self-deprecating, I can't decide...

Extreme conservatives? Surely you're not speaking of the governor.

Yes California has a deep divide, but I find the CRP to be horridly moderate.

The CRP is far from moderate. Among other things it has a 'no new taxes pledge', no matter what the deficit, any combination on spending cuts and small tax increases is unacceptable, and when 3 members compromised with democrats to avoid crisis, recall movements were started. They think that msaking the state suffer is a good idea because Democrats will get blamed.

You can't decide because you do not understand the unconscious factors that create your indecision. You lack self-understanding, as I said, but don't realize that because of the assumption you have that you posses it.

Instead of hearing a factual statement, you hear a threat to your ego, as if there were someone on earth who might know more than you and comprehend things you have completely missed. For you it's all about a contest, an imagined assumption that I operate like you, that I have a need to be elite, that my eliteness makes you a nothing. I am a nobody. I already am what you fear to be. Among egotists the folk without ego are seen as having great conceit.

Those without ego have the audacity not to care what you think.

I'm living in California but I'm not FROM California. I'm FROM NYC where the grass on the other side is still concrete.
IF I were from California I'd be somewhere else now, I suppose, and if I was somewhere else I'd probably still lean toward what makes sense politically and socially - if they are not the same thing... I think what makes sense in Colorado is the same thing that makes sense in California. Lean into the wind so as not to be blown down by the forces arrayed against common sense.

Well I hate Republicans, I wanna slap that smirk off of Palin's face with my dick and take a hairy dump in Limbaugh's bottle of unprescribed Oxcycontin so I guess that makes me left leaning or more likely just right.

lmfao

I live 3 blocks from the beach.

I am not a gazillionaire.

Fucker. I used to live one block away in La Jolla. Should have never moved away.

I will dedicate my next surfing expedition to you. It might be a little while though, it rained for the first time in 6 months earlier this week and now it's cold. (and by cold I mean around 55 degrees). I'm not made of stone!
