Quick crossfire question

Hello

Just received my two AMD 6950 cards. Should i use one or two crossfire connectors? currently ive connected two and it works but i keep seeing screenshots with only 1 connected
 
I'd read the manual that came with your cards. My 6950 Gigabyte manual says to use two connectors.

Hardcop did some testing on 5870 Crossfire and they got weird freezes running high resolutions with only one bridge. After talking to AMD they were told to use two bridges which solved the issue.
