There comes a point when you have to cut your losses. I have reached it with a couple friends I grew up with.

When they started ripping off the houses of other friend's parents, I drew the line.

I'm not saying he should abandon him. He should get his friend to seek help. I'm just saying that he shouldn't defend him for what he's done or make it seem like it's not a big deal.

Real friends help when your in trouble. They don't sugar coat it and pretend that everything's ok.
