I recommend him for Operation Human Shield.

Only in the event the crime was of low severity, and the moral stature of the person is deemed acceptable by the judge, can someone go into the Army instead of serving jail time.

So, if he was hosting a server full of kiddie porn, he can start lubing up for Bubba now.

Not bull. I've even met a person in the AF who did this, and AF requirements are much more stringent. His job sucks though, "water treatment" (aka, terd hearder)

*EDIT
Read the OP's post a bit more closely, not sure what the deal is with the child porography... I think there's a special place in hell for him, and it's not int he military.

LOFL. The very nature of an IRC fserve is that the owner knows what's there because he put it there. What IRC network was this, by the way? Just trying to keep tabs on LE incursion.

I'd wager that an absolute minimum of 90% of the warez/pr0n fserves are being hosted on rooted boxen.

My friend got into some serious trouble with the law that id rather not discuss here. He was recommended a good lawyer. Are their any sites online that gives information about particular cases the lawyer was involved in (if he won/lost the case) I found a site online but you have to pay for that kind of info.

just curious if anyone knows any free sites

I was wondering if there are any Lawyers that post on this board. I have a "friend" who got into some trouble (which I wont get into detail) about a year ago and the court has been postponing the court date at least 6 times, I was just curious if they are allowed to do this, and how would I go about getting this case dismissed.

Thanks

You seem very concerned about this "friend". Should we be inferring something about the identity of this "friend" and you?

no, i dont have schitzophrenia and no im not my friend.

just because im asking questions about a friend doesnt make it me.

He has been a friend of mine since kindergarten, and I care about him.

I dont agree with what he has done, but people make mistakes in their lives. Michael Jackson has done worse.

I can't believe you're defending him. This doesn't sound like a mistake. It sounds like he knew exactly what he was doing. You don't accidentally host an f-serve of child porn in a channel for child porn.

Pedophilia is not a mistake. And providing pedophilia is not a mistake either.
