Q6600 G0 stepping update from TankGuys

ive read about 3-4 guys getting B3 that ordered in the last few days from NCIX. and many who have gotten G0 as well.

There could be many people who received B3's, who don't know the difference and don't care.

We are hearing from a relatively few people to whom it matters..

In the discussions over at NCIX, the staff is saying most Q6600 will be out of stock everywhere next week..
Apparently they are selling like hot cakes at the `~$300 price level ..

Expect t to prices go even higher as supply gets tighter..


Good news, is that we can expect to see a lot more G0s when restocking happens..

I don't post here very often, but I just wanted to add my information.

I received not one but TWO B3 from the NCIX US site. Maybe the Canadians are getting the G0? I ordered the first one on July 26th and the second on August 3rd.

I also did the pre-order from Tankguys around July 22nd. I went to the status page today ( Aug 11th ) and the G0 status is now ETA so they don't know when they will get G0. ALL the processors they ordered and received from their suppliers were B3.

Try watching ClubIT. They guarantee G0 steppings. They were sold out starting this Sunday, but I checked every day and was able to order one on Wednesday, then they went out of stock again on Wednesday. But my order shipped on Thursday and I got a fed ex tracking # the day after ordering.
