Oops... I drank 2 bottles of red wine last night before duly vomiting on my grandmas white carpet. What was once a plush, vibrant and snow-white piece of upholstery now looks like the scene of a particularly gruesome murder, and smells like a chimps armpit. luckily, she's out till tonight, but has anyone got any brilliant ideas for removing red wine stains so she does'nt remove my testicles and have them wall mounted?

Is it just me, or does the title sound like some kind of demented country western song?

Responsibility and drinking rarely mix... anyway I felt fine for ages then it hit me like a steamtrain. But I concede that 2 bottles is overdoing it, I havent drunk much lately so must be out of practise since my university days!:(

Pour white wine on it? Never heard that one... got some though if anyone can confirm it actually works...

no, thats cranberry juice. Red cranberry juice reacts with the red wine to create clear water.

I confirm this -- it actually works. This was mentioned somewhere on the procter and gamble website. It's very important not to use cheap white wine. It only starts working if the white wine is at least a $10-15 bottle.

Two bottles in an evening seems about right to me. Is it possible that you are a lightweight? ;)

When I decide I am going to drink wine, I usually drink a magnum and a half... I guess that is 3 bottles. I do it over the course of several hours though.

Best of luck.
