I had to get mine during the wee hours of the morning... This network is getting hit with too many requests to download the same games.

I don't think Wipeout is available through PS+ anymore. The offers change each month and old ones are eventually phased out.

They had some that were available this weekend but the free period ended at the end of the day yesterday. Ghostbusters, Bad Boys and Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within were available.

Yeah, the video rental selection was pretty crappy. "Here's a couple of movies that you've seen a million times already and catch on basic cable regularly. Oh, and here's a crap Final Fantasy movie too."

My favorite kill simply involved using those gigawatt blades and bum rushing a reaper on top of a roof tower, kicking his ass, and using the electrified drop down ability to destroy his body 50 stories down
 
Got my PS3 freebies on Saturday.

Dead Nation sucks ass! What a waste! Should've went with LBP. At least it would've looked good. Dead Nation, top down, lousy graphics, totally crap controls. Instant delete.

Infamous 2 demo- pretty awesome. Likely a buy once it comes down a little in price.

I guess little big planet (when teh kids come visit) is a good choice.. but the second one.. deadnation vs. infamous.. it seems everyone says infamous, though stardust does sound fun.

i believe you can download the demos for infamous, LBP and stardust so you can try them out in advance before choosing

We must not be playing the same game. Dead Nation is pretty fucking awesome, looks great and controls perfectly fine (like any other dual-stick shooter).

It sounds like you didn't know how to play it? No disrespect, but it's pretty easy to control. I knew what type of game it was going into it, though, but I think the graphics are just fine 😛. Keep in mind too that it's just a $15 indy game, while Infamous and LBP were at one time full fledged $60 physical media games.

DN is easily worth $15, and it's even sweeter that I got it for free.

so I canceled the Infamous download and re-started it fine up until it hit 1GB it froze again at exactly 1055 MB just like before, is it possible I ran out of HDD space? How can I check if I did?
 
It should tell you if that's the case, but you can go to the... System tab I believe? It's second from the left, next to Users. Scroll down to system info and it will tell you your space there.
