I wasn't sure if that would apply to the PSP, but the same thing happened to me, and doing what the blog said fixed the problem. Or at least Little Big Planet now shows up in the Downloads list in Media Go, the server is too busy or something to actually let me download anything. It'll probably be a while before I try again.
 
Screw the welcome back package, I'm downloading the inFamous 2 demo that I've been watching people play at work for the past week.
 
im assuming the reason it keeps giving me errors when i try to DL this shit is because its getting slammed right now
 
I thought they offered these like 2 weeks ago, so I gave it some time. Without reading about it anywhere, I went on today and figured, this will be easy now that most people have already gotten their games.

Wrong, errors, servers flooded, and now 1 of 2 of my welcome back packages is gone but I never got an option to dl anything. I'm getting really sick of my ps3.

Thanks for that info, I still error out, but at least I can see that I still have the free game.

hmm i clicked on the get game thing then i got an error. when i reloaded the screen i no longer can select any games to d/l

gotta figure this out.

update:

here is a fix for anyone who has lost there game d/l icons

go to:
account management - transaction management - service list - Scea promotions

already own LBP and Infamous...

shitty selection of games...

I chose wipeout and dead nation. Doubt I'll play either one.

So I started to download wipeout hd fury and the complete unlock thing. did i need to download the demo too? I didn't do it at the screen with the other 2 and when i tried to download the demo, it say my account does not have access to this.

maybe it's just because it's getting hammered?

I got home and told my wife that Sony was going to give her little big planet for free and then it said my password wasn't valid, and then the link the emailed me just took me to a server down for maintenance page.

yeah, nothing is working for me now either, earlier I could at least get to account info and transaction mgmt, now everything is throwing errors. I'll try again next week, it's going to be a while before everyone gets their games downloaded.

I'll get an error but then I'll try again an it'll work fine.
 
I know you don't get access to those PSPlus games if you are no longer a PS Plus member but I wonder if that's the case for other content like premium themes you can download for free as a Plus member. I guess I'll find out in a month.
 
Wow.. again?

How is a mega multi-national corporation like Sony not taking additional precautions to prevent such attacks? And, with such repeated attacks on PSN, most customers would be turned off for good. I know I am. I just SP on PS3 and if I want to play online with friends, I go to XBL! 🙂

You'll get to keep any games you buy that are discounted by PS+, but any of them that you get for free you will lose access to.
 
So PSN is up in Denmark... but the website where I have to change my password says it's under maintenance... Can't login as I need to change my password... can't change my password on my PSP (don't have a PS3), it tells me to use the website... Any ideas?

Since Plus is free, i downloaded Sonic 2 and LBP Historic Moves. Im debating on the 2 year warranty extension for $45 since my playstation's year is up in a month.
