You're right - I'm just absolutely tired of his attitude and frankly creeped out that he brings up past posts (such as my weight in this thread, other random details in others) as if he's keeping track and taking notes, and particularly bullying me for no apparent reason.

I gave up DE shaving over a year ago. After a year's worth of DE shaving I realized that I just wasn't getting a good shave. Just wasn't worth the time and effort for me to get a crappy shave.

YYMV is what I'm getting at here. I know everyone pretty much wets themselves over how awesome DE "wet" shaving is. Just wanted to drop the other perspective.

I go on streaks of shaving. maybe 4-5 months of being clean shaved then 3-4 months of not shaving then back to shaving.

I love my DE razor and blades. i get a nice smooth shave. is it better then the mach3 i used to use? not really but its far cheaper. I do get less irritation though so that's the big thing for me.

Basically that's been my experience. Cheaper, a little bit harder to not cut yourself, but in the the end they both pretty much work about equally well.
