Jesus where did the GOP find their counsel? I actually feel bad for them.

Taylor's written statement included a interesting development: On July 26th, a day after the phone call, Taylor's staffer overheard Trump ask Sondland how the "investigations" were going. When the call was over, the staffer asked Sondland what Trump thinks about Ukraine. Sondland responded that Trump cares more about the Bidens being investigated.

Nunes - "First the Dems accused Trump of being a Russian agent, then they pivoted and accuse him of holding up military aid in Ukraine"

Someone needs to explain to Nunes that the military aid that was being held up was to be used against Russia, so its all the same thing.

Putin considers Ukraine to be part of Russia, therefore so do Republicans.

For anyone curious about the Alexandra Chalupa talking points that Nunes parroted today, here’s some background:

Two key takeaways:

Chalupa and her liaison in the Ukrainian Embassy ultimately had zero involvement with the release of the so-called “black ledger” that led to Manafort’s firing and legal woes. A Ukrainian member of parliament independently leaked it to domestic press with no help from Chalupa/Democrats.

The very talking point that Chalupa is somehow evidence of Ukrainian meddling (and Democrats/Hillary colluding with them) came from Russia. “The whole story originated with the Kremlin”

Too many words, names, and places have apparently greatly befuddled Jim Jordan.

I am going to scream almost random things at you quickly and smile like I've just got you seems to be the only real play here for the GOP.

Integrity and the oaths they took should lead them to call it what is in public instead of defending someone they obviously know is guilty as hell.

Pretty sure that was a staffer, not an elected member...but these staffers should also quit if that’s how they feel.
