Not really. I usually eat pretty fiber rich diets - lots of whole grain breads and bagels that are 4-8 grams per serving, beans, oatmeal, ect. But there's something about the Fiber One Bars that turn me into a weapon of ass destruction. My wife reports similar discomfort.

The caramel ones taste good...but damn they put a hurt on your colon.

The Kashi Go-Lean "Twigs & Granola" high fiber cereal creates similar gastro-intestinal pyrotechnics.

I eat them sometimes. Only complaint is I find they are way too hard, yet not hard enough to the point where it just cracks like hard candy. It's like chewing through wood or something. If I want fiber I just eat almonds.

Too hard? You must be eating something different. They are pretty soft & chewy, like a well...soft and chewy granola bar.

The other night my roommate and I were extremely hungry. As we search our empty cabinets we came across the devil in disguise, Fiber One Chocolate Chip Bars. We are not sure how they got there but we went in for the kill. To our surprise it was some of the most tastiest snacks to hit our lips. After we devoured our first bar we quickly moved on to our second. Before the night was over I had sucked down 3 while my roommate hit up 5.

The next morning our assholes were blowing more gas than Mobil. It was AMAZING!!!! Never before did I think human can fart as much as I did. I?m a teacher and literally had to run out into to the hall, fart real quick and go back in and finish the lesson. Along with that I was crop dusting the shit out of my students, and making them take the blame for the stink. My roommate experienced similar issues. He works in close quarters to other co-workers and unfortunately they experienced the wrath of Fiber One as well. He tried to hold it in as best as possible, but it?s like trying to plug an erupting volcano.

I just got some of the brown sugar and maple fiber one tarts. They are pretty good. No farts either.

I started these last week and I've never had so much gas in my life. My cube at work has officially been declared a warzone, and a few times I had to rush to the bathroom to only find out it was a monstrous fart. The volume and length of one fart in the stall got the awe of someone at a urinal, and prompted them to skip the washing of their hands.

I ate mine at work about 3 or 4 hours ago. Just before I left, I let a small one slip so I could test the waters. Smelled horrible. Got out of work about 10 minutes after and felt like I was going to shit my pants. Good thing I live about 5 minutes from work, because I had to shit so badly. Got home, said hi to my girlfriend, and then erupted in the bathroom.

Not noticing any abnormal gas though.

You have to wonder if the Fiber One manufacturers will notice that their sales conveniently went up this week...

I love them....yeah they can give you gas if you eat too many (2-3) but one is no worse than a bowl of oatmeal.

Old news to me... I remember trying these over a year ago and I was absolutely appalled at how gassy it made me. But it was worse than that. I wasn't just gassy, I got horrible abdominal cramps. Yes, this was with just one bar. I remember waking up in the middle of the night, doubled over, in excruciating pain, and unable to fart or anything. Dragged myself over the the toilet but nothing would come out. I just sat there, miserable, until it eventually subsided.

Never again.

haha, the comments on that site are gold:

No joke whatsoever - I have absolutely no reason to lie about such an embarrassing day in my life.

If you don?t believe me, then put yourself to the test. I personally dare you to try having 3 of these bad boys, or better yet shoot for 6. This is no fucking joke, I seriously thought I had to go to the emergency room. "

They definitely do taste very good, and while I don't get stomach cramps, the gassiness is fairly inevitable. Same thing happens with cheerios and most of the Quaker Oats cereals.
