They thought you were buying tampons because of the name.

They said he is a man, what does he need the tampons for. Very complicated algorithm.

All the time you are using your debit for $3k purchases? Not only is that stupid, but I really question the truth in that. I know I have a capped limit on my debit around $2k before they need a call to verify.

If you were truly the ballah you are claiming you'd 1) have a real credit card, 2) they'd not be questioning minor purchases.

Hitting up piggly-wiggly each night for a 40 and some pork rinds is not going to be regular enough use to let an iPad fly.

two problems with this thread.

1. you bought an IPAD.

2. you created a thread about buying an IPAD.

Used the card to pay my downpayment on my RX-8. It went through without a hitch. When I leased my GLi, I used the same card for $5k.

As for being ballah, I had a thread about a year ago bragging about paying off my 10 years worth of credit card debt. After that whole debacle, I stopped depending on them so much, and only spend what I have in cash. I did use my CC to pay for my contacts/glasses this past weekend though.

If ballah means putting yourself in CC debt, then I am as far from one as you can possibly imagine. Out of tens of thousands of available credit, I am using about $300 of it, and that actually irks me.

Another vote for Ban based on racist thread. If I started going off on minorities I would be gone so fast my head would spin.

Shoulda paid that off instead of getting an iPad.

No. I was born and raised in the Bronx. Never really got an accent or anything either. Been around Hispanics most of my early life, and only recently did my neighborhood turn predominantly Black.

oh, so that's how you became black.

Bump, Chase did it to me again today, so I updated OP. I don't know what it is with them and Apple...

I used my Chase Freedom card to buy two iPads, five days apart, at different stores (later returned the first) about two months ago.

Fuckin' upper-middle class white people.

Well, this time they just saw your expensive Zenbook purchase right before your expensive Macbook purchase. It's the kind of suspicious activity you see with a stolen CC.

You should thank them.

A close relative used a credit card at a NY restaurant and soon after, the CC fraud alert called asking about a purchase at an Apple store in Boston. Apparently the Apple merchandise is the prime choice for CC fraud because it must move better in the underground market.
