they do pull this shit -- I'm not sure why.

I couldn't use my debit card while I was out on a trip for a day before it got sorted out -_-

Calling Chase and telling them it was an authorized purchase would have taken far less time than it took to get out your race card and type this stupid thread.

I did. Took less than 10 minutes. I was surprised, I only hear bad things about their hold times.

Hah! Never thought about that angle.

Of course not. You're so hung up about race all the time that you've completely lost the ability to even consider any alternatives, let alone think critically in general.

You can also set it up for them to send you an email (or text your phone I think) and then you can authorize the purchase immediately.

So what's the problem? Other than the fact that you left the store ipadless instead of call Chase from there, and allowed yourself to be embarrassed at a restaurant?

Sounds like the fail was on your end.

They let me take the iPad home. You'd think they would have stopped me there. :)

I've bought tons of shit with my debit card ranging from cheap $5 items to over $3k and never had an issue.

I bought an iPad and all of a sudden Chase decides to put a fraud alert on my debit card. Fuck Chase, I guess they think that minorities can't afford iPads.

Can you imagine how poor I looked trying to buy lunch with my debit card in a place I go to every other day, and get denied? (They let me eat for free though!)

Minorites should never use Chase. Racist ass bank.

So dumb it hurts.

I have a company credit card. Whenever I use it to buy tools at Sears I get a call from the bank confirming the purchase. I never got a wedgie over it.

Someone tried to charge over 3 grand on my Chase card at a store that specializes in selling black jerseys (i.e. Negro league jerseys; they also sold other more retarded crap I can't remember). I don't even know how they got my card's information, as it was in my possession and I haven't used that card in a long time. I'm surprised they actually caught it and declined the transaction on the spot though, as I've had larger purchases go through without hearing a word from Chase. I guess it had to do with the store they tried to use it at;)

I'm Indian and had no problem using my Chase debit to buy an iPad in store.

Perhaps the Chase/Apple people involved are users from AT and recognized his name and said to themselves, "Oh no, it's that douchebag, troll, wannabe-black-man from AT... let's flag him".

:p

It's more likely that buying an iPad looks out of the ordinary compared to your normal purchases.

Either that or Chase hates people that pretend that they're black.
