If this is correct, then this "vote" was nothing more than democrats playing up the camera. The Republicans wanted to extend the payroll tax cut for a year, not 2 months, so all the claiming that they are screwing working Americans is disingenuous at best.
 
Everyone who votes knows who the GOP, especially the House members, are beholden to and will protect at all costs. Their message has been heard for many years by most but it seems that it has gotten so loud lately that even stupid people are starting to wake up to it.

The Republicans wanted to use these payroll taxes along with that pipeline issue. Remember just a few days ago when every Republican on the planet was criticizing Obama for not wanting to employ American workers? How Obama gave the eco-warriors the power to stop tax breaks for working Americans?

It's a game of chicken, and any way we analyze it, Washington wins while we lose.
