The Tea Party strikes again...and again...and again...and again...and...ad infinitum.

And Boehner caves in to them again...and again...and again...and again...ad infinitum.

These Tea Party freshmen legislators must feel soooooo omnipotent...to render the whole gov't so impotent at their every whim.

Assholes....every single one of them.

Excuse me? Gee, didn't Obama say all of the debates on medical reform would be televised? Then had them all done behind closed doors so CSPAN couldn't broadcast? Yeah. Neither side is right, but don't forget the dems did the same bloody thing.

So, then you'd agree that Boeher was out of line for killing the live feed from C-SPAN?

\which was the OP's point of contention...

As long as you agree Obama and Pelosi are out of line as well. Now lets discuss the impact. One set of people did it with a bill that impacts 1/7th of our economy. The other did it on a minor tax issue.

Would you admit that C-SPAN allows our nation to see what our representatives do and act on the floor?

And in that, isn't Boehner censoring in some half-assed attempt...? Are you okay with that?

Seriously, you are either dumb-witted, or a troll.

You know just as much as I do, the parties often use the C-SPAN cameras for political partisan posturing.

Well, I already know you're a troll, so the only question is, are you also dumb-witted?

Everything that goes on on the floor of the House is put in public record. You are 100% wrong in suggesting Boehner is censoring. How do you expect me to answer your follow-up question if your basis is fundamentally wrong?

Curious what you think the lady in the reddish-purple dress shirt in front of the House floor in the article's video is doing?

And even if we wanted to amuse your failure of a brain - what is Boehner trying to censor? The House activities were being shut down. If Boehner were censoring anything, he is censoring nothing.

That has been done since cameras were allowed. Allows preening and hide pouting. Nothing new.

Cue apologist.

At least Craig123 has the decency to make threads critical of the dem president. Look at you, fucker. Always ready to defend your side no matter what. a good little soldier.

Truth hurts when exposed.

Craig makes few threads critical of the Dems and always finds a way to insert that the Republicans are worse.

I criticize the government itself for being a failure and the hypocrites here that want to look at only one side.

When the libs here say the dems were also wrong for doing it, I will care what they say about the issue. When they hold an obvious double standard (dems allowed, reps are not), then their position is meaningless to anyone but those who hate reps simply because they are reps.

UberNeuman = Hypocrite partisan troll.

Now your turn.

He is not a hypocrit. A hypocrit thinks it is wrong for anyone to do something and then does not care when specific groups do it.

He holds a double standard. He thinks it is wrong for one group to do something while right for another group to do the same thing.

Dems have done this before. Nothing new here.

"C-SPAN asks Dems to televise negotiations for health reform bill"

Pot, meet kettle!

Cutting off C-Span access on either side is chicken shit, but it's not an exclusively R vs D issue - politics as usual I'm afraid across the board.

Negotiations are way different than floor proceedings. Floor proceedings are designed to be public, negotiations most certainly are not. There are really good reasons to keep negotiations secret a lot of the time too.
