Hey guys,
After about 10 months or so, my 60gb PS3 has finally died. I was using it with a rental inside when it abruptly shut off, never to turn on again (no lights, devoid of life). I am currently searching for the store receipt, but I need to extract the rental disk before I RMA it. Any ideas how to remove the disk without voiding the warrant while the unit will not power on?
Thanks
I do not like it when expensive products die so young
update 1: Store receipt found, still within warranty. On the phone with Sony currently, on hold for 20 minutes so far
update 2: Sony contacted, rep said that they can remove the rental at the repair center and send it back to me. About 30 minutes on hold, not as bad as I expected. RMA accepted, return shipping box inbound.
