PS2 Price Drop

its hard for me to get motivated to look, because i am burnt out on the one i own already
but got tendonitis from playing gta sa on various pc
i will check around. bored here lately anyway

You'd need a v13 PS2 or earlier to run a hard drive. The v14's and newer don't have the necessary soldering points.

I installed an HD Combo case mod onto a slimeline, along with a hard drive and DMS4 Pro chip. VERY nice setup, although a bit expensive to do.

according to youpaidwhat?com, there is a bundle with jak an ratchet for $99.98
i think this is the link, because it says out of stock, but not sure because i haven't bothered with that site for so long have forgotten password and username (or maybe they were deleted - same result)
so don't know the details. just searched on amazon's site for a jak ratchet combo

Yeah I was curious if anyone has seen any good bundle deals available for the PS2 beyond the system for $129. I suppose I'll just buy the system in town and then dig around on half.com for the deals.

Don't know if its mentioned already, I got one from BJs yesterday for $169. The bundle comes with Need for Speed, Offroad Fury2, Splashdown with extra dualshock2 controller.

That's because it's sold out, it came and went. I got one, it was delivered last week.
