"built-in Ethernet" on the slim model so I just need to plug it into my DSL routers spare port, nice. Does the slim model include the stand?
 
I got a PS2 for free (old version) for hooking up a home theatre system and connecting up a computer to broadband. Home Theatre was easy. Had to remove an old internal DSL modem to get the broadband working and it was ours. Only problem was we had to get it working first 😛 No biggie though. 15 minutes, a can of air, a cutip, and so isopropyl alcohol and it worked perfectly. Not bad at all considering we didn't pay a thing for it :laugh:

EDIT: w00t! 1 post away from 1500...... wonder what ill waste it on :laugh:
 
Best thing about my PS2 is God of War and i've got all the Time Crisis light gun games!

A great system with TONS of games. :thumbsup:
 
You can watch DVDs on it, so I would get a DVD remote control, memory and an extra controller for it.

Games:

God of War (now a greatest hit)
Gran Turismo 4 (now a greatest hit)
Final Fantasy X (a greatest hit)
Metal Gear Solid 2 (a greatest hit)
Metal Gear Solid 3
If you like fighting games they have some good Street Fighter games from back in the day.

If you got a little girl, Karaoke Revolution games are fun. Dance Dance Revolution is fun as well, even if you want some exercise its a great way to loe some weight.

 
i agree it's a great way to lose weight but you can get 8 ddr's for free from stepmania on the PC, and they dropped the price to sell off the last ones before the PS3 comes.
 
i think standing it upright and playing dvds on it causes dre
i say that because i didn't even play it that often, but still got dre with txr3 and it was the only other game besides shox that i played

can barely find ps2 accesories on fye site, let alone the actual system
i did this fye deal with the ps2 a year ago to get it to $149 i think
have to go to the store or call and hope that somebody who knows what they are doing will answer the phone.

they will work with ps1 games in the ps2, but not for ps2 games in the ps2

Yeah I was curious if anyone has seen any good bundle deals available for the PS2 beyond the system for $129. I suppose I'll just buy the system in town and then dig around on half.com for the deals.
